Healthcare Data, AI & Analytics Practice Sales Lead
Job Summary
Cognizant is seeking a consultative problem-solver to drive our Service Line Sales within our Healthcare Solutions practice. This is a Healthcare Data, Analytics & AI Solutions Lead to drive growth across healthcare accounts by identifying, shaping, and closing complex Data, Analytics, AI, and Intelligent Automation opportunities. This role serves as a trusted advisor to client executives, helping organizations define business outcomes and execute technology-led transformation initiatives.
The qualified candidate must be located in one of the following locations: Dallas, TX., Chicago, IL., Minnesota, Connecticut, or New York.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales
- Own the end-to-end sales lifecycle for Healthcare Data, Analytics, and AI opportunities.
- Identify, qualify, shape, and close complex transformation deals within assigned accounts and territory.
- Lead client workshops, executive discussions, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements.
- Develop differentiated value propositions and respond to RFPs and strategic client opportunities.
- Partner with account teams to drive revenue growth, account penetration, and new business development.
- Travel as required to support client engagements, business development activities, and internal collaboration.
Client & Relationship Management
- Build trusted relationships with healthcare business and technology executives.
- Collaborate with Client Partners and account teams to develop and execute strategic account plans.
- Participate in executive business reviews and customer governance discussions.
- Leverage internal and external stakeholders to expand Cognizant's Healthcare Data, Analytics, and AI business.
Solution & Thought Leadership
- Translate business challenges into scalable Data, Analytics, AI, and Intelligent Automation solutions.
- Provide healthcare industry, data, analytics, and AI expertise throughout the sales cycle.
- Stay current on healthcare, data, analytics, and AI market trends and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to Cognizant thought leadership through industry events, publications, client forums, and solution innovation.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in healthcare data, analytics, AI, or related technology domains.
- 5+ years of experience in IT consulting, solution leadership, or client-facing advisory roles.
- 5+ years of experience leading complex solutioning and large sales pursuits.
- Demonstrated success selling and shaping complex technology transformation engagements.
- Strong healthcare domain knowledge and executive client engagement experience.
- Must be located in one of the following locations: Dallas, TX., Chicago, IL., Minnesota, Connecticut, or New York.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare Data, Analytics, AI, or Intelligent Automation sales leadership.
- Experience managing large, cross-functional pursuits involving global delivery teams.
- Strong understanding of cloud, data platforms, AI/GenAI, analytics, and digital transformation.
- Proven track record within large IT services, consulting, or digital transformation organizations.
