Job Summary
Contribute as a PE Maps professional by enhancing digital map data quality validating geographic information and improving location based services for global users. Responsibilities
- Review digital map data against defined mapping guidelines to identify inaccuracies and ensure consistent high quality updates for global users in a rotational shift hybrid environment
- Analyze location based information such as addresses points of interest and road attributes to validate correctness and enrich the overall maps content used by diverse applications
- Execute detailed comparisons between multiple data sources including internal tools open data and imagery to detect missing features and propose accurate corrections
- Document mapping issues clearly in English by writing concise descriptions and justifications that help internal teams understand and resolve defects efficiently
- Collaborate with cross functional team members through online communication channels to clarify requirements share findings and align on mapping standards that support company objectives
- Apply logical problem solving techniques to ambiguous mapping scenarios by interpreting written guidelines and choosing the most appropriate data representation for each case
- Monitor daily task queues and personal productivity metrics to maintain steady throughput while meeting or exceeding accuracy service level targets defined for the maps program
- Provide constructive feedback on mapping tools workflows and data rules to improve overall process efficiency and to support continuous enhancement of the maps platform
- Support quality audits by preparing clear evidence examples and explanations that demonstrate how mapping decisions were taken based on documented rules and customer expectations
- Contribute to user experience improvements by ensuring that map outputs are intuitive reliable and inclusive for end users across different regions and modes of transportation
- Adapt quickly to new mapping specifications technologies and review frameworks by actively studying updated documentation and participating in guided knowledge sessions
- Engage in knowledge sharing by documenting best practices and frequently encountered mapping scenarios so that peers can resolve similar cases more efficiently
- Align daily work with the company mission by recognizing how precise maps enable safer travel better logistics and smarter urban planning that can positively impact communities worldwide
Qualifications
- Possess strong verbal and written English communication abilities that enable clear interpretation of guidelines precise documentation and effective collaboration in a multicultural environment
- Demonstrate foundational analytical and problem solving aptitude suitable for reviewing complex location data with close attention to detail and minimal supervision
- Bring academic background in engineering computer science geography or a related quantitative discipline that equips the candidate to work comfortably with structured data
- Show readiness to work in a hybrid work model and rotational shifts while maintaining consistent productivity discipline and focus on quality outcomes
- Display familiarity or internship exposure to mapping platforms navigation apps or geographic information tools which can be applied to real world map data validation tasks
