Job Summary
The 3dExperience Platform administrator will be responsible for managing the multiple PLM platforms Dev QA Production instances in ITAR controlled environment . candidates with GC or US Citizenship is mandatory.
The role involves collaborating with cross functional teams in a hybrid work model to design configure and optimize PLM capabilities that improve product quality accelerate innovation and streamline compliance in a global MNC environment
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end functional design and configuration of 3DX PLM solutions to support core product lifecycle management processes from concept through retirement
- Coordinate with engineering quality supply chain and manufacturing teams to capture requirements and translate them into scalable PLM functional designs
- Optimize PLM workflows by analyzing current business processes and implementing configurations that improve cycle time quality and traceability
- Develop detailed functional specifications for PLM enhancements integrations and reports that align with enterprise architecture standards
- Guide the setup of product structures change management and configuration control in 3DX PLM to ensure accurate and compliant product data
- Validate PLM solutions through functional testing user acceptance support and continuous feedback loops to secure stable production operations
- Prepare and maintain PLM process documentation including functional designs configuration guides and user reference materials for ongoing knowledge sharing
- Conduct user training sessions and hands on workshops to build PLM adoption and proficiency across diverse business functions
- Collaborate with IT security and compliance partners to ensure PLM configurations meet regulatory quality and data governance expectations
- Resolve complex PLM functional issues by analyzing root causes and implementing sustainable corrective and preventive actions
- Partner with product and program teams to use PLM insights for better decision making improved product quality and reduced time to market
- Support hybrid working models by using digital collaboration tools documentation practices and remote workshops to keep PLM initiatives on track
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance PLM usability data integrity and end user satisfaction
- Align daily PLM activities with the company mission by enabling efficient product development that reduces waste improves safety and delivers better solutions to society
Qualifications
- Possess substantial experience in implementing and supporting PLM solutions with strong emphasis on product lifecycle management processes across complex organizations
- Demonstrate hands on expertise in 3DX PLM configuration including product structures change control workflows and role based access models
- Apply practical understanding of product lifecycle management domains such as new product introduction engineering change management and configuration management in real projects
- Utilize strong analytical and problem solving skills to assess PLM issues evaluate options and recommend data driven functional solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels by explaining PLM concepts requirements and impacts in clear and concise language
- Exhibit familiarity with integration of PLM systems with upstream and downstream applications such as CAD ERP and quality systems to support end to end data flow
- Adapt to hybrid work environments by managing tasks independently collaborating virtually and maintaining high standards of documentation and follow through
