Job Summary

Sr Software Engineer B3 will design and deliver high performance enterprise services using DevOps Kubernetes and PL SQL or MySQL in a hybrid work model. The role focuses on building scalable transactional platforms that support finance and accounting processes ensuring reliability security and maintainability while collaborating with cross functional teams in a day shift schedule.


Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot to support core business workflows and high volume data processing in a hybrid work environment.
  • Develop and optimize Kafka based event streaming pipelines to ensure resilient data exchange between distributed systems with a strong focus on throughput latency and fault tolerance.
  • Create robust relational database schemas and complex PL SQL or MySQL queries to guarantee data integrity efficient retrieval and reliable transactional processing.
  • Refactor legacy components and integrate new microservices into existing enterprise ecosystems to improve maintainability performance and long term system sustainability.
  • Collaborate closely with product analysts and quality teams to translate finance and accounting requirements into clear technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.
  • Implement comprehensive unit integration and component tests to maintain high code quality reduce regression issues and support continuous delivery practices.
  • Monitor application performance logs and metrics to identify bottlenecks and proactively drive tuning efforts that enhance user experience and system stability.
  • Apply secure coding practices and enforce access control policies to protect sensitive financial data and support compliance with internal audit standards.
  • Participate in design and code review sessions to share expert level feedback promote engineering excellence and ensure adherence to established development guidelines.
  • Document system designs technical decisions and deployment procedures to support knowledge sharing efficient onboarding and long term operational continuity.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure and DevOps teams to support smooth builds deployments and environment configurations for reliable day shift operations.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating new tools and approaches that can streamline development workflows and reduce operational overhead.
  • Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements manage technical risks and provide realistic effort estimations that help deliver predictable project outcomes.


Qualifications

  • Showcase advanced proficiency in Java and Spring Boot including experience building secure scalable and maintainable microservices for complex business domains.
  • Demonstrate hands on expertise with Kafka including design of topics consumer groups and message processing patterns for reliable event driven architectures.
  • Exhibit strong skills in PL SQL or MySQL encompassing query tuning stored procedures and schema design for high volume transactional systems.
  • Apply solid understanding of finance and accounting concepts as a desirable domain skill to better interpret functional requirements and validate system behaviors.
  • Utilize practical knowledge of hybrid work models modern collaboration tools and agile methods to stay aligned with distributed cross functional teams.
  • Display familiarity with core software engineering practices such as version control automated testing and continuous integration to maintain consistent delivery quality.
  • Illustrate effective communication and problem solving abilities that support clear requirement discussions technical documentation and constructive peer collaboration.
