Job Summary
Demand Role Analyst responsible for SAP Commerce B2B functional processes supporting hybrid teams to design and optimize digital commerce solutions for enterprise clients. Role focuses on configuring testing and enhancing SAP Commerce features that streamline order handling and customer experience while applying finance and accounting understanding to improve transactional accuracy and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand B2B commerce requirements and translate them into clear SAP Commerce functional designs that align with client objectives and organizational standards.
- Configure SAP Commerce B2B modules to support pricing catalog customer hierarchies and order workflows that enable efficient digital self service for enterprise customers.
- Analyze existing B2B order to cash journeys and recommend SAP Commerce enhancements that reduce cycle time improve data accuracy and elevate customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with SAP Commerce technical teams to clarify functional specifications validate feasibility and ensure consistent implementation across environments.
- Prepare and execute detailed functional test scenarios for SAP Commerce B2B features to verify end to end flows from product selection through order completion and invoicing.
- Document functional configurations process flows and change impacts in clear reusable formats that support future maintenance and knowledge sharing across teams.
- Partner with finance and accounting stakeholders to validate that SAP Commerce order data supports accurate billing revenue recognition and financial reporting where applicable.
- Support defect analysis by reproducing issues isolating root causes in functional configurations and proposing sustainable corrections within SAP Commerce.
- Assist in planning and executing minor releases and enhancements by assessing effort identifying dependencies and preparing user communication materials.
- Provide business users with guidance on SAP Commerce B2B best practices through demonstrations walkthroughs and hybrid working sessions conducted both on site and remotely.
- Monitor key performance indicators related to B2B digital channels and propose functional improvements that increase adoption and transactional throughput.
- Contribute to internal continuous improvement initiatives by sharing lessons learned standardizing reusable SAP Commerce assets and promoting consistent processes across projects.
- Ensure compliance with organizational quality security and documentation guidelines while delivering SAP Commerce solutions that support ethical and sustainable business practices.
Qualifications
- Possess hands on experience in SAP Commerce B2B functional configuration including catalogs pricing customer accounts and order management for at least two years.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to interpret business requirements map them to SAP Commerce capabilities and propose pragmatic process optimizations.
- Exhibit working knowledge of finance and accounting concepts such as invoicing credit management and revenue flows that influence B2B commerce processes.
- Apply effective communication skills to collaborate with cross functional teams and explain SAP Commerce functional designs to both technical and non technical stakeholders.
- Show proven ability to design and execute comprehensive test cases that validate integrated SAP Commerce B2B scenarios in a structured and repeatable manner.
- Display familiarity with hybrid work environments using collaboration tools to coordinate tasks share documentation and support distributed teams effectively.
- Maintain a learning mindset by staying informed about SAP Commerce enhancements and industry trends relevant to digital B2B channels and financial process integration.
Certifications Required
SAP Certified Development Associate SAP Commerce or equivalent SAP Commerce certification preferred
