- Deeply understand Cognizant’s narrative and business model and develop media relations strategies that advance Cognizant’s position as a global AI builder.
- Support communications planning and execution for executive appearances, company announcements, and major business milestones.
- Create high-quality communications content including press releases, social media posts, executive talking points, and other audience-ready materials.
- Partner with executive offices and cross-functional teams to shape and deliver leadership messaging while building relationships that drive business outcomes.
- Participate in crisis and issues communications efforts, helping ensure timely, effective, and consistent messaging while monitoring and measuring communications effectiveness.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, Journalism, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Excellent English writing, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically while producing high-quality communications content.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Experience working under pressure, managing tight deadlines, and maintaining a calm, positive attitude.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience developing associate events and communications campaigns.
- Experience supporting executive communications, media relations, or public relations initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a virtual team environment.
- Natural curiosity about current events, business trends, and media landscapes.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $90,000 - $100,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
