Senior .NET/C# Technical Lead
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Lead to lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on expertise in .NET, Azure Cloud Services, SQL Server, Azure DevOps, and end-to-end software delivery, with the ability to guide technical teams and collaborate effectively across business and technology stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable enterprise applications using .NET, Azure Cloud Services, and SQL Server.
Manage end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performing healthcare domain solutions.
Drive Azure DevOps best practices, including CI/CD pipelines, release management, code reviews, and automated testing.
Architect and optimize cloud-native and hybrid solutions on Microsoft Azure, focusing on scalability, availability, and security.
Oversee database design, performance tuning, and data integrity for mission-critical SQL Server applications.
Mentor development teams, provide technical guidance, and promote agile methodologies to improve delivery efficiency.
Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement continuous improvements to enhance system reliability and user experience.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in software development using .NET/C# and SQL Server technologies.
3+ years of experience leading technical teams and mentoring developers in an Agile environment.
Proven experience managing end-to-end software delivery projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Platform services and cloud-based application architecture.
Expertise in Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline implementation, release management, and DevOps best practices.
Experience designing and supporting secure, scalable, and high-availability enterprise applications.
Excellent leadership, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $81K – $141K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
