Lead the end-to-end migration from GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES) to GitHub Cloud across multiple business units and development teams. Assess existing GitHub Enterprise environments, repositories, workflows, integrations, access controls, and governance policies to define migration strategies. Develop migration roadmaps, implementation plans, risk assessments, rollback strategies, and cutover plans. Design and implement GitHub Cloud organizational structures, repository standards, branching strategies, and governance frameworks. Act as the enterprise administrator and SME for GitHub Cloud and GitHub Enterprise platforms. Migrate repositories, teams, permissions, secrets, Actions workflows, runners, webhooks, and third-party integrations to GitHub Cloud. Build, maintain, and optimize GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines and reusable workflow templates. Configure and manage GitHub Organizations, Enterprise Accounts, Teams, Runners, Environments, Security Policies, and Access Controls. Implement repository governance standards including branch protection rules, pull request policies, code ownership, and compliance controls. Integrate GitHub Cloud with enterprise identity providers using SAML SSO, SCIM, and RBAC controls. Establish secure software development practices including secret management, vulnerability scanning, dependency management, and security policy enforcement. Collaborate with development, security, platform, and cloud teams to onboard applications and streamline software delivery processes. Automate operational and administrative activities using GitHub APIs, scripting, and Infrastructure-as-Code approaches. Monitor platform availability, adoption, usage metrics, security posture, and operational performance. Troubleshoot complex GitHub platform, workflow, runner, access, and integration issues and provide Level-3 support. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance developer productivity, platform security, and operational efficiency. Develop documentation, migration guides, standards, runbooks, and knowledge-sharing materials. Conduct training sessions and provide technical guidance to development and engineering teams adopting GitHub Cloud.
