About the role
As a Healthcare Facets Test Lead, you will make an impact by leading User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for enterprise Healthcare Payer programs. You will be responsible for ensuring successful validation of business processes, claims operations, enrollment, provider management, billing, and system integrations while partnering with business stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.
You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering team and collaborate closely with business leaders, product owners, implementation partners, and delivery teams to support large-scale Facets transformation initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Lead end-to-end UAT activities for Healthcare Facets programs, ensuring comprehensive validation of business workflows, integrations, and operational processes.
Review business requirements, configuration documents, and solution designs to define UAT strategy, scope, schedules, and requirement traceability.
Validate claims processing, adjudication, benefits, deductibles, copays, coinsurance, authorization rules, and reimbursement outcomes to ensure business readiness.
Lead defect triage, testing execution, issue resolution, and release readiness activities to support successful deployments.
Coordinate multi-vendor, onsite, and offshore teams while providing governance, stakeholder communication, and delivery leadership throughout the testing lifecycle.

What you need to have to be considered
7+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Engineering, Business Analysis, or Testing roles with strong Healthcare Payer experience.
Proven experience leading UAT activities for Healthcare Facets implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs.
Strong expertise in test strategy, estimation, planning, execution, defect management, and release governance.
Deep knowledge of Healthcare Payer operations including Claims, Enrollment, Benefits, Provider Management, Billing, and EDI transactions (834, 837, 835).
Experience managing multi-vendor, cross-functional, onsite, and offshore delivery teams.
Strong stakeholder management, executive communication, governance, and delivery leadership experience.
Experience driving testing efforts across large-scale healthcare transformation and modernization initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
These will help you stand out
Healthcare certifications or Quality Engineering certifications.
Experience supporting Facets modernization or transformation programs.
Experience working in highly regulated healthcare environments.
Knowledge of healthcare compliance and payer operational workflows.
Experience supporting enterprise-scale UAT governance and business readiness initiatives.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $53,477 to $92,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
