Job Summary

This role supports policy servicing activities for an international insurance organization focusing on accurate documentation data management and administrative support using MS Office in a structured office based night shift environment. The position contributes to effective servicing of property and casualty insurance portfolios while maintaining high standards of quality compliance and customer centric outcomes.


Responsibilities

  • Perform policy servicing activities including data entry verification and updates in policy administration systems while using MS Office tools to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Manage policy documentation workflows by organizing indexing and maintaining digital and physical files to ensure easy retrieval and strong compliance with internal standards
  • Prepare and update policy schedules endorsements and related service documents using MS Office applications ensuring clarity completeness and adherence to defined templates
  • Review incoming requests for policy changes renewals and cancellations validating information identifying discrepancies and escalating complex items based on defined operating procedures
  • Support night shift operations by monitoring queues prioritizing tasks and meeting turnaround times thereby helping the organization deliver continuous service to global markets
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as underwriting support and customer service through clear written communication to clarify policy details and complete servicing requests
  • Maintain accurate data in spreadsheets and trackers using formulas and organized layouts to monitor volumes productivity error trends and service level metrics for team reporting
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines and internal controls by following documented standard operating procedures and participating in periodic reviews to reduce operational risk
  • Contribute to process improvement by identifying recurring issues in policy servicing suggesting practical changes in templates or workflows and supporting implementation through testing and feedback
  • Provide clear and professional written responses in policy related communications by summarizing changes documenting rationales and ensuring that all information is consistent with source records
  • Utilize MS Office based tools to generate routine reports on work status policy updates and outstanding items helping supervisors make informed decisions on resource planning and workload distribution
  • Support knowledge management efforts by documenting key steps reference notes and frequently asked questions for policy servicing activities to help new team members become productive faster
  • Contribute to the organization purpose by ensuring accurate and timely policy servicing that strengthens trust among customers and supports wider access to reliable insurance protection in society

  • Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong proficiency in MS Office applications including spreadsheets word processing and presentation tools with the ability to use formulas formatting and templates to manage complex policy data
  • Show practical understanding of property and casualty insurance concepts such as policy coverages limits endorsements and renewal processes applying this knowledge to interpret servicing requests when relevant
  • Exhibit solid analytical skills with the ability to review policy information spot inconsistencies and take corrective action while maintaining a high degree of attention to detail under night shift conditions
  • Communicate clearly in written form by drafting structured policy notes status updates and internal emails that help stakeholders understand changes without ambiguity
  • Demonstrate adaptability and resilience by working effectively in a dedicated office based night shift model following schedules and maintaining productivity and accuracy throughout the shift
  • Apply sound time management skills to organize tasks manage multiple policy servicing requests and meet defined turnaround times and service level objectives
  • Show commitment to quality and continuous improvement by being open to feedback participating in training sessions and adopting updated procedures and tools for policy servicing activities

  • Certifications Required

    Preferred certifications include MS Office Specialist or equivalent and any recognized insurance foundation program in general insurance or property and casualty
