You will play a critical role in automating routine tasks managing Operator-based deployments and ensuring our Kubernetes infrastructure runs smoothly during upgrades and peak operations. 3. Responsibilities : Build Scripts: Write troubleshoot and modify application build scripts to package custom code extensions and factory setup data into deployable Sterling OMS and SIP container images. Script MaintenanceWrite troubleshoot and modify existing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts for IBM Sterling OMS and SIP fix pack installations. K8s Operator Deployments Modify and maintain deployment configurations leveraging Kubernetes Operators and CRDs to ensure smooth rollouts. Platform Support Execute routine platform upgrades apply patches and manage configuration changes across multiple environments via the Operator. Troubleshooting Monitor deployment pipelines triage build failures and resolve environmental issues related to the OMS/SIP stack. Collaboration Work closely with the development and senior DevOps teams to package releases and ensure code is deployment-ready. Good experience in environment management deployment or DevOps. Proven familiarity with IBM Sterling OMS build and deployment processes. Solid hands-on experience with Docker and modifying Kubernetes deployments using Operators CRDs ConfigMaps and Secrets. Experience running and maintaining build scripts for automation. Proficiency in version control (Git) and standard CI/CD tools. Comfortable scripting in Bash or Python for routine build and automation tasks. 9.
