We are currently seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer to design, build, and enhance ServiceNow solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
This role provides the opportunity to work across a broad range of ServiceNow capabilities, partnering closely with business stakeholders, architects, and delivery teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing platform solutions. You will play a key role in solution design, platform configuration, workflow automation, and continuous improvement initiatives, helping organisations maximise the value of their ServiceNow investment.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions aligned to business and operational requirements.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications, workflows, forms, catalog items, business rules, notifications, and integrations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Configure and support ServiceNow modules, with a particular focus on Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) and Integrated Risk Management (IRM).
• Design and implement automated workflows that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Build and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise applications, databases, and third-party platforms.
• Develop reusable components, configuration templates, and platform standards that promote consistency and scalability.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
• Support testing, deployment, and release activities across development, test, and production environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, configuration guides, and operational procedures.
• Work closely with architects and platform teams to ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture standards and security requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through platform optimisation, automation opportunities, and adoption of ServiceNow best practices.
Skills & Experience
• Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer in enterprise-scale environments.
• Strong hands-on experience developing and configuring ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Experience working with ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, CSM, HRSD, GRC, or IRM.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and platform automation capabilities.
• Experience designing and supporting ServiceNow integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, and other integration technologies.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow data models, CMDB, catalog management, and platform governance practices.
• Experience working with Agile delivery methodologies and cross-functional project teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex platform issues.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing technical documentation, solution designs, and support artefacts.
• Understanding of security, governance, and compliance requirements within enterprise platforms.
• Exposure to GRC and IRM implementations would be highly advantageous.
