About the role
As a Senior Manager - Pricing, you will drive impactful contributions and focus on outcomes. You will be a key member of the Deal Pricing team, collaborating with sales, solutioning, finance, delivery, tax, technical accounting, FP&A, and other business stakeholders. You will serve as a key financial and commercial advisor to deal teams, providing expertise in deal modeling, financial assessment, deal structuring, and negotiation support. You will have the autonomy to lead complex pricing engagements while ensuring alignment with Cognizant’s business objectives, financial targets, and governance requirements. In this role, you will:
- Undertake the financial structuring and analysis of deals while meeting Cognizant’s business objectives.
- Develop pricing models and assess profitability, cash flow, key financial metrics, and overall deal viability.
- Identify and communicate financial and commercial risks throughout the deal lifecycle, from qualification through contract closure.
- Support deal teams throughout the sales cycle by analyzing and recommending deal-specific financial strategies and solutions.
- Support negotiations of commercial and financial terms to achieve Cognizant’s business and financial objectives.
- Enable Cognizant to execute contracts that deliver approved returns while addressing customer business drivers.
- Liaise with FP&A, Tax, Technical Accounting, and other functions to ensure objective financial governance and decision-making.
- Prepare for and actively participate in internal deal governance reviews.
- Support compliance with Cognizant processes, policies, and approved pricing toolsets.
- Keep Pricing Leadership informed of potential issues, risks, and unresolved matters.
- Participate in team meetings, assist with deal coverage, and support business continuity.
- Coach and mentor less experienced team members.

What you must have to be considered
- Degree qualification and/or professional accounting qualification.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, deal support, or related functions.
- Strong expertise in financial modeling, deal pricing, profitability analysis, and commercial structuring.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive business outcomes across complex deal environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and competing demands effectively.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
- A strong sense of ownership, desire to create meaningful outcomes, and passion for work that serves customers and business objectives.
