Senior SharePoint/.NET Application Support Developer leads complex development and application maintenance activities for SharePoint and Microsoft technology solutions. The role combines hands-on engineering, L2/L3 production support, technical mentoring, and ownership of critical incidents, service requests, change requests, and problem requests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable SharePoint and Microsoft-based applications.
- Lead complex coding, troubleshooting, performance tuning, database optimization, and solution implementation.
- Provide L2/L3 production support and technical guidance for business-critical applications.
- Own high-priority incident investigation, service restoration, RCA, stakeholder updates, and preventive actions.
- Assess and fulfil complex service requests, ensuring technical accuracy and timely closure.
- Manage change requests covering solution design, estimation, impact analysis, development, testing, deployment, and validation.
- Drive problem requests by analyzing trends, identifying root causes, maintaining known errors, and implementing permanent solutions.
- Conduct code and design reviews and ensure compliance with engineering, security, and support standards.
- Mentor developers, support knowledge sharing, and improve team capability and technical quality.
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, business, infrastructure, QA, operations, security, and vendors.
Required Skills:
- 6-9 years in application development, maintenance, and support.
- Hands-on experience in SharePoint and Microsoft technologies.
- Life Insurance domain knowledge is preferred.
- Technical: SharePoint Online/Server; ASP.NET; ASP; SQL Server; SQL; architecture; performance tuning; security.
- Service Management: L2/L3 support; incident, service request, change request, problem request, release, RCA, SLA, and governance
- Delivery and Professional: Technical mentoring; estimation; code review; stakeholder management; Agile delivery; continuous improvement.
