Role: Infrastructure Patching Project Manager

Location: Toronto, ON

Single point of accountability for the L1.5 ISO patch factory in Canada — named escalation and relationship interface to client infra operations leadership

▸ Operates strictly as an execution layer under client direction; client retains full ownership of decisions, priorities, approvals, and governance outcomes

▸ Patch engineering, baseline definition, deployment-ring strategy, and emergency approval authority remain client-owned and out of scope

▸ Governs the onshore–offshore follow-the-sun model across Canada and India (Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Pune)

▸ Own end-to-end SLA adherence across all six patching towers — Windows, Linux, SQL, Oracle, Storage, Network — against agreed KPIs

▸ Govern RFC/CAB lifecycle; ensure readiness checks, conflict checks, and stakeholder communications are complete before each patch window

▸ Approve wave plans, compliance posture reports, and zero-day/emergency patch response strategies in coordination with client security and vulnerability teams

▸ Chair monthly governance reviews; present SLA/KPI dashboards — ≥95% cycle coverage, ≥99% change success rate, ≥80% first-fix at L1.5, ≤2-day MTTR, 100% on-time reporting within 24 hours of cycle close

▸ Own audit-ready evidence packs for OSFI/SOX and sign off patch-compliance reporting within 24 hours of cycle close

▸ Act as the decision-velocity hub between client leadership and the offshore factory — manage escalations, risk alignment, and exception handling

▸ Drive continuous service improvement, SRE error-budget reviews, and non-punitive post-mortems with client L2/L3 engineering

▸ Lead phased engagement maturity progression — Resource → Service → Operational Maturity → Automation — per SOW milestones

▸ Manage capacity tracking, shift rostering at leadership level, and people leadership across onshore Tower Leads

▸ Coordinate zero-day and emergency patch response — critical patches within <48 hours; non-critical urgent within 5 business days

▸ Review and approve enterprise patch wave plans, schedules, and maintenance windows across all towers aligned to client priorities

▸ Govern the RFC/CAB lifecycle; validate pre-patch readiness checks and post-patch compliance closure across towers

▸ Oversee CMDB accuracy, vulnerability ticket closure rates, and compliance posture reporting — 100% on-time within 24 hours of cycle close

▸ Coordinate cross-tower emergency/zero-day response; interface with client vulnerability and security teams for prioritisation

▸ Drive non-punitive post-mortem reviews for major patch failures; approve RCA outputs and preventive action plans

▸ Oversee Power BI/Excel dashboard maintenance for client-facing SLA/KPI reporting

▸ Direct SRE team on observability improvements, automation playbook governance, and error-budget consumption reviews
