About the Role
- Support project setup, maintenance, and administration activities in accordance with contractual requirements and organizational standards.
- Review customer contracts, complete contract classifications, and maintain accurate contract documentation.
- Document and maintain customer requirements related to project management, budgeting, invoicing, revenue, and system access.
- Partner with Project Managers to support project changes, contract updates, customer requirements, and operational efficiencies.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, knowledge sharing, and process enhancement activities across the PMO function.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- Experience reviewing customer contracts and understanding project budgeting principles.
- Experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems, with Oracle experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to satisfy applicable citizenship requirements for U.S.-based positions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Salary and Other Compensation:
Applications will be accepted until October 24, 2026.
The annual salary for this position is between $60,000 - $65,000, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.

Key Responsibilities
Customer Requirements Management
- Document and maintain customer contacts, shipping locations, and invoice delivery requirements.
- Maintain customer billing rates and invoicing requirements, including charge numbers and related project controls.
- Document customer systems and associated system access requirements.
- Coordinate project updates resulting from customer-driven changes, including organizational changes and business transitions.
Contract Administration
- Review customer contracts and complete contract classification activities.
- Monitor opportunity progression and support Project Managers with opportunity closure activities.
- Participate in contract classification training and ensure accurate contract documentation.
- Provide contract documentation to revenue and project management stakeholders.
- Respond to inquiries regarding contract status and documentation.
- Support contract research activities to facilitate revenue recognition requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams to prepare for periods of high project setup volume.
Project Setup and Maintenance
- Complete initial project setups and subsequent project changes in accordance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor project setup reporting and ensure project and contract records remain accurate.
- Support project updates resulting from audits, customer changes, tax requirements, and business needs.
- Assist with the setup and maintenance of fixed-fee projects, including milestones and revenue alignment.
Quoting and Financial Support
- Support the quoting process by ensuring consistency between contractual language, project structures, and invoicing requirements.
- Review project revenue structures and identify opportunities for alignment with project objectives where applicable.
- Help ensure required approvals are obtained in accordance with organizational policies and procedures.
Project Reviews and Reporting
- Participate in recurring reviews with Project Managers.
- Review upcoming change orders and project activity.
- Analyze project time reporting and support project financial reviews.
- Assist with customer approval requirements related to timesheets and invoicing, where applicable.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate project information and documentation.
Continuous Improvement
- Document and improve internal processes, tools, templates, and procedures.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to leadership regarding process improvements.
- Support capability development initiatives and knowledge-sharing activities across the team.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance operational effectiveness and customer satisfaction.
