Job Description: Business Analyst – Capital Markets (Middle Office / Back Office)

Location: Chennai / Pune

Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum 5–8 years of Capital Markets experience, specifically within Middle Office and Back Office operations.
  • Hands-on experience in FSD (Functional Specification Document) preparation and Solution Documentation.
  • Strong experience in data extraction and analysis using RDBMS and/or Non-RDBMS queries.
  • Experience working with Agile sprint ceremonies as well as Waterfall methodology.
  • Knowledge/experience with Broadridge Back Office applications, including:
    • BPS
    • IMPACT
    • GLOSS

Good to Have

  • Experience with DTC/CDS processes related to Clearing and/or Settlement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand and document Capital Markets requirements.
  • Prepare FSDs, solution documentation, business requirements, and process flows.
  • Support data analysis and validation through database queries.
  • Work across Middle Office and Back Office processes and applications.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coordinate with development, testing, and business teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Support requirements and functional analysis related to clearing and settlement processes.
