We are seeking an experienced Playwright Automation Test Lead with strong expertise in designing, developing scalable, cross-browser test frameworks and drive the end-to-end quality strategy for complex enterprise applications. You will design robust UI/API test architectures using TypeScript/Java and Playwright, and integrate intelligent quality gates into enterprise deployment pipelines, along with the ability to independently drive testing activities and collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
In this role, you will

Design automation scripts with best in class coding standards.
Provide hands-on coding support across Playwright, Selenium, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to accommodate varying application technology stacks.
Establish configuration management practices — environment configs, test data, credentials, and versioning across all automation codebases.
Integrate automation frameworks with test management tools (ADO/qTest, or equivalent) to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and execution results.
Guide technology selection and framework fit-for-purpose decisions (UI, API, mobile, performance) based on application architecture and team maturity.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex framework, environment, and CI/CD integration issues across distributed teams.
Own and prioritize the technical backlog for framework enhancements, tooling upgrades, and scalability initiatives.
Mentor and upskill application-level automation engineers on standardized frameworks, tools, and practices.
