We are seeking an experienced Playwright Automation Test Lead with strong expertise in designing, developing scalable, cross-browser test frameworks and drive the end-to-end quality strategy for complex enterprise applications. You will design robust UI/API test architectures using TypeScript/Java and Playwright, and integrate intelligent quality gates into enterprise deployment pipelines, along with the ability to independently drive testing activities and collaborate effectively with business and technology stakeholders.
In this role, you will
Define and enforce standard reporting formats and dashboards across all automation suites for consistent visibility into execution results across teams.
Design automation scripts with best in class coding standards.
Provide hands-on coding support across Playwright, Selenium, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python to accommodate varying application technology stacks.
Establish configuration management practices — environment configs, test data, credentials, and versioning across all automation codebases.
Integrate automation frameworks with test management tools (ADO/qTest, or equivalent) to ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, and execution results.
Guide technology selection and framework fit-for-purpose decisions (UI, API, mobile, performance) based on application architecture and team maturity.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex framework, environment, and CI/CD integration issues across distributed teams.
Own and prioritize the technical backlog for framework enhancements, tooling upgrades, and scalability initiatives.
Mentor and upskill application-level automation engineers on standardized frameworks, tools, and practices.

3+ years of hands-on expertise across Playwright, Selenium, C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Python.
Proven experience standardizing automation frameworks across multiple technology stacks and application types (web, API, mobile).
Experience integrating automation with test management platforms and strong CI/CD integration experience (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
Demonstrated ability to build internal tooling and dashboards; strong facilitation and mentoring skills.
Experience with AI-assisted/agentic testing tooling.
NuGet or equivalent package management standardization experience.
These will help you stand out
Familiarity with QE metrics (DDP, defect leakage, flaky test rate) and maturity assessment frameworks.
