Job Summary

Join a global technology organization as a Developer specializing in automotive verification and validation manufacturing execution and product lifecycle management solutions using Opcenter Exec Discrete Process and Teamcenter. Contribute to high quality automotive industry projects in a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel requirements delivering robust and efficient digital manufacturing capabilities.


Responsibilities

  • Design robust verification and validation scenarios for automotive applications that ensure functional correctness compliance with industry standards and reliability across varied operating conditions in complex production environments.
  • Develop and configure Opcenter Exec Discrete solutions that streamline shop floor execution processes for automotive manufacturing while improving traceability quality control and overall production efficiency.
  • Implement and optimize Opcenter Exec Process workflows that harmonize process steps material flows and data capture to support precise and repeatable automotive manufacturing operations.
  • Build and customize Teamcenter configurations that enable efficient management of product data engineering changes and bill of materials for automotive programs throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Integrate Opcenter Exec and Teamcenter modules with existing enterprise systems to create seamless data exchange consistent master data and unified digital threads across automotive design and manufacturing functions.
  • Analyze complex production and engineering issues reported by automotive stakeholders and provide clear technical solutions that reduce rework improve first time right outcomes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Document technical designs configuration decisions test cases and validation results with a focus on auditability and reuse enabling future enhancements and smoother onboarding for project team members.
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams such as engineering manufacturing and quality to gather requirements refine solutions and ensure implemented features match practical expectations in automotive plants.
  • Perform root cause analysis on defects uncovered during automotive verification and validation cycles and implement corrective configurations that prevent recurrence and strengthen overall solution stability.
  • Optimize application performance for Opcenter Exec and Teamcenter deployments by tuning configurations queries and data structures to support scalable and responsive operations in high volume automotive environments.
  • Support user acceptance testing by preparing controlled test data guiding business users through realistic automotive scenarios and capturing feedback that translates into targeted system refinements.
  • Contribute to internal best practices templates and technical guidelines for automotive digital manufacturing and lifecycle management solutions so that future projects benefit from consistent and proven approaches.
  • Ensure all delivered configurations and customizations align with company quality standards cybersecurity practices and automotive industry regulations contributing to safer products and more reliable transportation solutions.


Qualifications

  • Demonstrate strong hands on experience in automotive verify and validate activities including test design execution and defect management focused on both functional and integration aspects.
  • Show deep practical understanding of Opcenter Exec Discrete capabilities such as routing management work order execution data collection and nonconformance handling tailored to automotive manufacturing.
  • Apply solid working knowledge of Opcenter Exec Process features that support recipe management process parameter control and genealogy tracking in process oriented automotive production.
  • Exhibit proficient skills in configuring and using Teamcenter for product data management change management and collaboration among engineering and manufacturing stakeholders in the automotive domain.
  • Bring proven exposure to automotive industry processes including design release production ramp up quality gates and compliance needs so that solutions truly reflect real plant operations.
  • Utilize strong programming and scripting abilities along with database concepts to extend and integrate Opcenter Exec and Teamcenter solutions when required by project objectives.
  • Demonstrate clear communication analytical thinking and documentation skills to collaborate effectively in a hybrid work model and support day shift global project activities.
