Key Responsibilities:
•Manage SQL Server databases, focusing on performance, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
•Maintain AWS services for database operations (RDS, S3, IAM policies).
•Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and parameters.
•Ensure database security by managing users, roles, and privileges.
•Handle environment cloning and refreshes for development and testing.
•Automate routine tasks and monitoring in cloud environments.
•Troubleshoot database and application connectivity issues.
•Archive huge tables into S3 buckets periodically and automate the process.
•Recording Incident & Problem Management for Tickets logged for the project.

Skills Required:
•SQL query performance tuning.
•Analysis of long-running queries and suggesting optimizations.
•Script review and validation.
•Troubleshooting database-related issues.
•Proficiency in DB Profiler, Query Store, and Extended Events (XEvent) session and job creation.
•Strong knowledge of indexes and table statistics.
•Ability to analyse execution plans and Plan XML files.
•Experience with AWS RDS configuration, backups, and monitoring.
•Familiarity with cloud automation and cost optimization strategies.
•ITSM certification is desirable.
