Desk Side Support Engineer (On-site | German & English)

Location: On-site, 5 days per week
Contract Duration: 3 years
Working Hours: 08:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Role Overview

We are looking for a Desk Side Support Engineer to provide hands-on IT support to end users in a fully on-site environment. This is a long-term, 3-year role suited for professionals who enjoy direct user interaction and resolving day-to-day IT issues in a corporate setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide desk-side and walk-up IT support to end users
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Support desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices
  • Work with Windows OS and standard enterprise applications
  • Log, track, and update incidents and service requests in the ticketing system (ServiceNow)
  • Coordinate with remote support teams and escalate when required
  • Follow IT processes, security standards, and SLAs
  • Deliver a professional, customer-focused support experience

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience in Desk Side / Desktop / On-site IT Support
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in an end-user environment
  • Fluent German and English (mandatory)
  • Familiarity with ITIL-based support environments
  • Strong communication skills and service mindset
  • Ability to work independently in a fully on-site role

Work Environment

  • 100% on-site role – 5 days per week in the office
  • Fixed working hours: 08:30 AM – 5:30 PM
  • Corporate office environment with direct end-user interaction
