Senior .NET FSE with Azure/Angular (On Site)
As a Senior .NET FSE Developer, you will make an impact by contributing to the architecture and design of software systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability. You will be a valued member of the Digital Engineering team and work collaboratively with the manager and stakeholders.

In this role, you will:
- Deep knowledge of .Net Core, MVC framework and Azure compute services, including VMs, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Logic Apps, Entity
- Framework, Azure Batch & App Services
- In Depth knowledge in Angular UI, and PostgreSQL, along with expertise in hybrid cloud scenarios and IaaS/PaaS cloud patterns (e.g., horizontal scaling, 12-factor design).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define workload requirements and performance expectations.
- Implement auto-scaling strategies and optimize parallel processing, GPU utilization, and distributed computing.
- Implement security best practices, such as access controls, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Design transactional compute patterns with compensation mechanisms.
- Define monitoring metrics, alerts, and diagnostics; troubleshoot performance bottlenecks.
- Promote component-based development for reusability and consistency.
- Coordinate effort within different IT groups like Enterprise Architecture, Office of Information Security, Data Management Office as and when needed.
- In-depth understanding of the business environment, its processes and complexities of the organization and apply the knowledge towards the proposed work program.

What you need to have to be considered:
- About 12+ years of experience in designing & developing compute-intensive solutions with .Net Framework (HANDS ON), Azure compute services & Angular 2-18
- Extensive experience with microservices, micro-frontends, and containerized deployments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), along with deployment strategies like blue/green, canary, and rolling updates
- Proven track record of developing Azure architecture for large-scale, production-grade applications
- Good experience to use GenAI tools (Ex. Github copilot)
- Hands-on experience in leading cloud integration strategies, supporting changes in development, deployment, and configuration processes consistent
- with DevOps best practices
- Proficient in CI/CD toolchains (e.g., TFS, Git, Jenkins) and skilled in creating cloud infrastructure templates like Azure Resource Manager (ARM) and using orchestration tools such as Terraform.
- Microsoft certified Azure professional

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68K – $140K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
