Senior Java Developer/AWS
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Java Developer/AWS (Hybrid) with 8+ years of experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. Location: Mount Laurel - NJ (Hybrid)

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to design and deliver scalable, AWS-based solutions.
- Manage and optimize data using SQL/MySQL, while implementing JavaScript-based front-end enhancements for improved user experience.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices, security, and compliance standards (including Cards & Payments).
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in a hybrid work environment.
Qualifications:
· 8+ years of experience with Strong proficiency in Java, Spring MVC, and Spring Boot, with proven experience developing robust and scalable applications.
· Hands-on experience with AWS, including deploying and managing applications in cloud environments.
· Expertise in SQL and MySQL, with the ability to efficiently manage and optimize complex databases.
· Proficiency in JavaScript for building dynamic and responsive user interfaces.
· Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with experience collaborating across teams; Cards & Payments domain knowledge is a plus.
Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 81,337 $ to 163,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
