Job Title: Healthcare Product Consultant – TriZetto Elements (Government Programs)
About the role
As a Healthcare Product Consultant – TriZetto Elements, you will make an impact by supporting and advising healthcare payer clients on the implementation of Cognizant’s TriZetto Elements product suite within government‑sponsored healthcare programs. This role focuses on enrollment, reconciliation, encounters, and risk adjustment, with a strong emphasis on Medicare programs.
You will be a valued member of the Healthcare Product Consulting team, working closely with clients, project managers, implementation teams, and internal product partners to translate regulatory requirements and business needs into effective product solutions that deliver measurable value.
This is a remote position, open to qualified applicants within the United States. Travel up to 20% may be required based on business needs.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as a client‑facing product consultant, engaging with healthcare executives and senior stakeholders on government healthcare programs, including enrollment, reconciliation, encounters, and risk adjustment
- Translate Medicare regulations, CMS guidance, and industry trends into actionable product implementation strategies for the TriZetto Elements suite
- Advise clients and prospects on TriZetto Elements capabilities, features, and best practices aligned with Cognizant’s Healthcare Product Consulting (HPC) implementation methodology
- Lead product consulting activities, including identification of client needs, gaps, requirements, and solution options across the Elements product portfolio
- Support implementation teams by analyzing, validating, specifying, and verifying client requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with TriZetto Project Managers and Resource Managers to support multiple concurrent Elements implementations
- Represent TriZetto Elements product expertise during client kickoffs, workshops, and knowledge transfer sessions
- Define and document functional and technical requirements, solution diagrams, and product use cases to drive client acceptance
- Partner with Product Managers and cross‑functional teams to inform product roadmaps, requirements, release schedules, training, and support strategies
- Review and approve select proposals, estimates, and solution recommendations related to Elements implementations
- Work closely with leadership to help shape and deliver an industry‑leading product consulting and implementation experience

What you need to have to be considered
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Medicare enrollment operations within government‑sponsored healthcare programs
- Prior experience in a product consulting, business analysis, or implementation advisory role
- Strong knowledge of Medicare programs, including enrollment, reconciliation, encounters, and risk adjustment
- Proven ability to translate regulatory and business requirements into product and implementation solutions
- Experience working directly with clients in complex, regulated healthcare environments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience
These will help you stand out
- Preferred certification in Medicare Fundamentals (TZU)
- Expertise in risk adjustment models, such as CMS‑HCC, HHS‑HCC, CDPS, and related methodologies
- Secondary knowledge of Medicare Part D, Prescription Drug Events (PDE), and reporting
- Experience with cloud, SaaS, or service‑oriented architectures in healthcare environments
- Strong documentation, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience working in large, complex, and highly regulated organizations
- Project management or delivery leadership experience

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $132K-$155K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
