Sr. Architect (.NET/Azure)
Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified a Sr. Architect (.NET/Azure) with at least 15 + years experience to design and implement cutting-edge solutions using Azure DevOps .Net Framework ADO.NET SQL Server DevOps ASP. Net Core and Entity Framework. The ideal candidate will contribute to the company’s strategic goals by delivering robust and scalable architectures while working in a hybrid model during day shifts. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code. Responsibilities
· Design and develop scalable and secure architectures leveraging Azure DevOps .Net Framework and ASP.Net Core to meet business requirements and enhance operational efficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of ADO.NET and Entity Framework in application development processes.
· Provide technical expertise in SQL Server to optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across systems.
· Implement DevOps practices to streamline development workflows automate deployments and improve system reliability.
· Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain high-quality standards in software development.
· Develop detailed technical documentation to support ongoing maintenance and future enhancements of the systems.
· Oversee the implementation of cloud-based solutions using Azure DevOps to enhance scalability and reduce operational costs.
· Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions that align with organizational goals.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations while designing and deploying solutions.
· Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
· Monitor system performance and proactively address any issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
· Collaborate with domain experts in the Payer industry to tailor solutions that meet specific business requirements.
· Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions that drive business growth.
Qualifications
· Demonstrate expertise in Azure DevOps .Net Framework ADO.NET SQL Server DevOps ASP.Net Core and Entity Framework with hands-on experience in designing and implementing solutions.
· Possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex technical challenges effectively.
· Showcase excellent communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and articulate technical concepts clearly.
· Exhibit a deep understanding of software development lifecycle processes and DevOps methodologies.
· Have a solid grasp of database management principles and optimization techniques using SQL Server.
· Demonstrate familiarity with cloud-based architectures and their implementation using Azure DevOps.
· Experience in the Payer domain is a plus with the ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific needs.
· Show a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that align with organizational objectives and enhance societal impact.
· Display a proactive approach to learning and adapting to new technologies and industry trends.
· Possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Canadian Pay Transparency Statement
We regularly assess market data to ensure we offer a competitive compensation package for our associates. The base salary for this position ranges between $ 89,550 – 141,500 per year. Where the successful candidate may fall within the range depends on relevant education, work and/or management experience and other business-related and job-necessary qualifications. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual performance-based bonus, as well as benefits that support your physical, mental and financial wellbeing.
