Job Summary
Serve as a subject matter expert in policy servicing for property and casualty insurance within a multinational corporate environment applying strong MS Office skills to manage complex policy transactions documentation and analysis while working night shifts from the office to support global operations and deliver accurate timely service to internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage end to end policy servicing activities by reviewing endorsements renewals cancellations and mid term adjustments to ensure timely and accurate maintenance of customer policies in alignment with defined underwriting guidelines and service level expectations.
- Perform detailed validation of policy data by cross checking source documents internal systems and correspondence to minimize errors reduce rework and improve overall data quality across the policy servicing portfolio.
- Prepare and update policy documentation using MS Office tools by creating structured spreadsheets service logs and formal summaries that clearly capture key coverage terms limits and special conditions for easy reference by stakeholders.
- Collaborate with underwriting operations and customer support teams by clarifying servicing requests resolving discrepancies and sharing insights that support smooth policy lifecycle management and consistent service outcomes.
- Analyze recurring servicing issues and process bottlenecks by tracking trends in transaction volumes error types and turnaround times to support targeted process improvements and enhance operational efficiency.
- Respond to servicing related queries from internal partners by investigating policy history validating changes and providing clear concise explanations that strengthen trust and support informed decision making.
- Utilize advanced MS Office capabilities by building standardized templates lookup driven trackers and pivot based reports that help monitor work queues measure productivity and highlight potential risks in policy servicing activities.
- Maintain accurate records of all policy servicing actions by documenting activities approvals and exceptions in a structured manner to ensure audit readiness and compliance with internal control standards.
- Adhere to defined night shift schedules and work from office expectations by coordinating handoffs with global teams aligning with cross regional timelines and ensuring continuity of service during critical processing windows.
- Apply foundational knowledge of property and casualty insurance concepts by interpreting coverage details deductibles and exclusions to support precise policy updates and explain servicing outcomes to nontechnical stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in huddles sharing suggestions based on hands on servicing experience and helping to test updated procedures or tools before wider deployment.
- Follow all regulatory and company policies during servicing activities by applying applicable compliance requirements privacy practices and documentation standards to protect customer information and organizational reputation.
- Contribute to team goals by managing individual queues effectively providing backup support during peak periods and consistently meeting quality and turnaround benchmarks that help the organization deliver reliable service to customers and communities.
Qualifications
- Possess three to five years of experience in policy servicing or similar insurance operations roles demonstrating accountability for accurate processing of endorsements renewals and related transactions in a structured corporate environment.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in MS Office applications by using spreadsheets for data analysis presentations for reporting insights and word processing tools for preparing precise policy documentation and communication.
- Exhibit sound understanding of property and casualty insurance products when applicable by recognizing common coverage types rating elements and policy structures that support accurate interpretation of servicing requests.
- Show capability to work consistently in a night shift and office based model by maintaining focus managing energy and coordinating effectively with global colleagues across different time zones.
- Display strong communication and collaboration skills by engaging clearly with cross functional stakeholders documenting information transparently and responding constructively to feedback that enhances service quality.
- Maintain high attention to detail and problem solving ability by identifying anomalies in policy data resolving discrepancies proactively and escalating complex issues through established channels when required.
Certifications Required
Preferred certifications include certification in property and casualty insurance and training in advanced MS Office applications.
