Team Lead
About the role
As a Team Lead, you will make an impact by leading a high-performing team, driving revenue growth and ensuring exceptional service delivery through coaching, motivation and operational excellence. You will be a valued member of the Media Sales Support team and work collaboratively with your manager and key stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Provide mentorship, guidance and career development to team members while fostering a culture of engagement, collaboration and accountability.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve and exceed sales and revenue targets while encouraging innovative sales approaches and identifying opportunities to scale programs.
- Manage day-to-day team operations, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and performance metrics while driving continuous process improvements.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including Engagement Score, Adoption and Pitch Rate, using data-driven insights to improve team performance and productivity.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, determine root causes and deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders through meaningful reporting and business reviews.
- Serve as a key liaison between the team, clients and internal stakeholders, driving alignment on business goals and best practices.
- Lead the team in building strong client relationships that support engagement, retention and long-term business success.
Work model

Based on this role's business requirements, this is an onsite position requiring five days a week in a client or Cognizant office in São Paulo, SP.

What you need to have to be considered
- Proven experience leading teams and delivering results in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a productive and positive team culture.
- Strong adaptability and problem-solving skills with the ability to align with leadership expectations and business objectives while navigating complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to mentor team members and provide effective coaching and constructive feedback.
- Strong proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides for data analysis, reporting and presentations.
- Advanced English proficiency and full professional fluency in Portuguese.
These will help you stand out
- Digital Marketing certification.
- Experience or knowledge of Google Ads.
- Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and compelling business narratives.
- Experience mentoring and developing team members, with a focus on long-term career growth and performance improvement.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment and quickly adapt strategies to changing business needs.
- Previous experience in sales or account management.
- A track record of maintaining a positive, motivating and high-performing team environment.
