Job Summary:
Azure VDI Specialist with 7 to 8 years of experience responsible for designing implementing and optimizing secure cloud based device management and virtual desktop solutions using Microsoft Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop. Role focuses on enhancing end user productivity ensuring compliance and delivering resilient hybrid cloud services that support business continuity and scalable growth in a global MNC environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and implement secure cloud based device management solutions using Microsoft Intune to support scalable enterprise operations and consistent user experiences across locations.
· Configure and optimize Azure Virtual Desktop environments to deliver reliable and responsive virtual workspaces that enable hybrid work and maintain strong performance in a global context.
· Monitor cloud device compliance and configuration baselines to ensure alignment with organizational policies and regulatory expectations while reducing operational risk and security incidents.
· Coordinate with infrastructure and security teams to define standard configurations for devices and virtual desktops that support stability simplified operations and improved service reliability.
· Develop and maintain automation scripts for enrollment configuration and updates of devices and virtual desktops to increase efficiency and reduce manual administrative effort.
· Troubleshoot complex issues related to Intune policies application deployment and Azure Virtual Desktop sessions to restore service quickly and improve user satisfaction.
· Document cloud architectures configuration standards and operational procedures to enable consistent support knowledge transfer and onboarding of new team members in the hybrid work model.
· Collaborate with application owners to package test and deploy business applications through Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop while minimizing disruption and ensuring compatibility.
· Analyze performance metrics and usage patterns across device management and virtual desktop platforms to recommend improvements that enhance stability and cost effectiveness.
· Implement security controls such as conditional access compliance policies and endpoint protection configurations to safeguard devices data and user identities in the cloud ecosystem.
· Coordinate planned maintenance and change activities for Intune and Azure Virtual Desktop environments to minimize impact on day shift users while maintaining service quality.
· Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions that align with enterprise cloud strategies and deliver measurable business outcomes.
· Guide peers and cross functional teams on cloud device management and virtual desktop best practices to encourage adoption of standard patterns and continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
· 7 - 8 years of experience with Device Management Intune VDI - Azure Virtual Desktop
· Demonstrate strong hands on experience in Microsoft Intune device management including policy design application deployment device compliance and reporting for enterprise scale environments.
· Apply deep knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop including host pool configuration image management user profile handling and capacity planning to support hybrid workforces.
· Show proficiency in Microsoft Azure fundamentals including identity management resource governance and monitoring to operate cloud services in a structured and secure manner.
· Utilize experience with Windows client and server operating systems to diagnose endpoint issues optimize configurations and ensure compatibility with enterprise applications.
· Leverage understanding of networking concepts such as DNS routing and VPN connectivity to troubleshoot access and performance issues in cloud based virtual desktop solutions.
· Employ strong problem solving and analytical skills to assess incidents identify root causes and implement long term corrective actions that prevent recurrence.
· Communicate clearly with technical and nontechnical stakeholders to explain cloud solution designs operational changes and impacts in a concise and understandable way.
