Job Summary
- At least 5 years in SAP with at least 1 implementation.
- Healthcare background.
- GxP and non-GxP documentation exposure
- SAP WM with Interface exposure (MES exposure if possible) , should have worked with interfaces and be able to create and understand mapping requirements.
Broadly following WM activities.
- Configure SAP WM to optimize warehouse processes.
- Integrate WM with other SAP modules like materials management (MM) and sales & distribution (SD).
- Provide support for automation in warehouse operations (e.g., barcode scanning, radio-frequency identification (RFID)).
- Well versed with all customizations involved in SAP WM and its standard processes.
- Good communication skills.
Serve as a functional lead specializing in warehouse management processes on the SAP platform focusing on integration with external systems handling unit management related SAP modules and RF transactions in a hybrid work model. Apply deep functional insight to design and optimize scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and support reliable claims and provider operations in a day shift environment with no travel demands.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end functional design for warehouse management processes by translating business needs into robust SAP configurations that enhance operational accuracy and throughput in a hybrid work model environment.
- Coordinate with cross functional teams to define detailed requirements for warehouse integration scenarios so that material movements and inventory updates remain timely and reliable across all connected platforms.
- Configure and validate warehouse management integration points with external systems to ensure that data flows are consistent auditable and resilient to common operational disruptions.
- Guide the setup and optimization of warehouse handling unit management so that packing storage and shipping activities remain traceable and compliant with organizational and regulatory expectations.
- Align warehouse management processes with other SAP modules by mapping master data transaction flows and status updates to support consistent end to end supply chain visibility.
- Design and refine RF based warehouse transactions that enable floor associates to execute tasks quickly and accurately while reducing manual errors and unnecessary data entry steps.
- Oversee integration testing cycles for warehouse related interfaces by preparing test scenarios reviewing test evidence and coordinating defect resolution to achieve stable production outcomes.
- Prepare comprehensive functional specifications and process documentation that clearly describe the objectives assumptions and expected behaviors of each warehouse related solution component.
- Provide day shift support for critical warehouse operations by analyzing incidents identifying root causes and recommending sustainable improvements that prevent recurring disruptions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders from claims and provider focused domains to understand downstream impacts of warehouse data on service quality and financial accuracy.
- Advise on performance tuning opportunities for warehouse transactions and interfaces so that response times and processing volumes meet service level expectations for global operations.
- Train business users and key process owners on new or revised warehouse functions by explaining process changes in clear language and demonstrating system behavior in realistic scenarios.
- Monitor solution adoption and process compliance by reviewing operational metrics and feedback then proposing iterative enhancements that strengthen business value and societal impact through efficient logistics.
Qualifications
- Require a proven professional background of eight to twelve years in functional roles focused on SAP warehouse management with hands on experience in integration to external systems and complex distribution processes.
- Require strong practical experience in warehouse handling unit management including design of packing strategies storage relationships and traceability models that support compliance and operational resilience.
- Require demonstrated expertise in aligning warehouse management with other SAP modules such as materials management and sales to support cohesive end to end process execution and reporting.
- Require solid experience designing and supporting RF based warehouse transactions that empower floor personnel with intuitive and efficient task execution capabilities.
- Require the ability to document business requirements and functional specifications with clarity and detail so that technical teams and business stakeholders share a common understanding of solution scope.
- Prefer prior exposure to claims and provider-oriented domains where warehouse and inventory data influence fulfillment accuracy service levels and financial reconciliation outcomes.
- Prefer experience working in hybrid team structures using collaborative tools and structured methodologies to coordinate work across locations and time zones without travel requirements.
Certifications Required
Preferred SAP certified application associate in warehouse management or extended warehouse management or equivalent functional certification.
