About the role
As a Cyber Security Architect, you will make an impact by ensuring robust, scalable, and secure enterprise architectures, with a strong emphasis on governance, Architecture Decision Records (ADRs), and Security Architecture Review Board (SARB) processes. You will be a valued member of the enterprise security architecture team and work collaboratively with architects, engineering teams, and governance stakeholders.
In this role, you will:
- Lead security architecture reviews for solutions, domains, ADRs, and AI-enabled platforms, providing clear, actionable recommendations.
- Define and assess security controls for GenAI and agentic systems, including model access, data protection, prompt integrity, and secure orchestration.
- Author and maintain ADRs, reference architectures, and security patterns, including those related to LLMs, RAG systems, and multi-agent frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership across application, cloud, data, and API security domains, incorporating modern AI security considerations.
- Drive continuous improvement by leveraging GenAI tools to enhance architecture reviews, documentation quality, and governance efficiency.

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 3 days a week in a client office in Toronto, ON. What you need to have to be considered
- Strong experience in enterprise security architecture frameworks (e.g., SABSA, TOGAF, NIST CSF).
- Hands-on expertise in application, cloud, data, and API security architecture.
- Experience reviewing and authoring Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and participating in governance forums (e.g., SARB).
- Knowledge of GenAI systems, LLM lifecycle, and AI/ML security risks (e.g., prompt injection, data leakage, model governance).
- Proven ability to perform threat modeling and security assessments for complex, distributed systems.
These will help you stand out
- Experience securing GenAI platforms (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Vertex AI) and agent-based frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools and frameworks such as LangChain, Guardrails AI, or similar orchestration layers.
- Experience with AI governance, responsible AI policies, and secure adoption of intelligent automation.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate architectural decisions, trade-offs, and risks.
- Experience leveraging GenAI tools to improve documentation, review processes, and architectural analysis.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 105,000 - $ 12,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
