Senior MES / MOM Architect (AVEVA PI & Oracle Cloud PCS)
About the role
As a Senior MES / MOM Architect (AVEVA PI & Oracle Cloud PCS), you will make an impact by designing and delivering advanced execution system solutions that enable resilient, data-driven manufacturing operations. You will be a valued member of the engineering and industrial transformation team, working collaboratively with manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and IT stakeholders to drive operational excellence.
In this role, you will:
· Design and implement integrated execution system architectures leveraging AVEVA PI Historian, Oracle Cloud PCS, and DCS/PLC/SCADA platforms to support high-performance manufacturing environments
· Develop and optimize data acquisition strategies to capture high-fidelity process data for real-time monitoring, analytics, and reporting
· Configure Oracle Cloud PCS workflows to orchestrate plant-floor processes and ensure compliant, traceable execution across operations
· Define integration standards, interface designs, and technical specifications to enable scalable and maintainable system implementations
· Drive performance optimization, system tuning, and reliability improvements across hybrid industrial data and execution platforms

What you need to have to be considered
· 12+ years of experience in manufacturing execution systems, industrial automation, or MOM architecture
· Strong hands-on expertise in AVEVA PI Historian (configuration, administration, data modeling, performance tuning)
· Proven experience with Oracle Cloud PCS for designing and managing business process workflows and integrations
· Solid experience with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems, including signal mapping and system integration
· Experience designing and delivering solutions in manufacturing environments, including production processes, quality, and asset management
These will help you stand out
· Experience integrating execution systems with enterprise platforms and cloud services
· Knowledge of supply chain processes and their integration with shop floor execution
· Strong understanding of industrial cybersecurity, access controls, and system governance
· Experience supporting predictive analytics, data platforms, and continuous improvement initiatives
· Ability to lead solution reviews and engage stakeholders with clear, effective communication

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position depends on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
