About the role
As a Consulting Manager – Data Analyst - Wealth & Capital Markets, you will make an impact by leading client-facing initiatives across financial data, operations, and systems within wealth management and capital markets environments. You will help ensure high-quality data flows across custodians and broker-dealer platforms, enabling accurate reporting and efficient trading operations.
You will be a valued member of the Banking & Financial Services Consulting team, working closely with client stakeholders across operations, data, and technology teams.
In this role, you will:
- Lead analysis and integration of custodian data from multiple sources, ensuring alignment with business and reporting needs
- Own data mapping and data model design, including mapping custodian data to broker-dealer (BD) models and identifying gaps
- Define and implement canonical data models aligned with client data governance frameworks
- Oversee analysis across the trading lifecycle (including clearing, settlement, and portfolio processes) to support operational improvements
- Manage delivery (including JIRA boards, priorities, and roadmap) while leading small teams and driving execution in a client-facing consulting environment

What you must have to be considered
· 8–13 years of experience in wealth management or capital markets, with strong exposure to consulting or client-facing roles
· Proven expertise in data mapping, data models, and financial data flows
· Strong understanding of trading lifecycle, custody processes, broker-dealer systems, and portfolio management
· Experience working with and integrating custodian data across multiple systems
· Experience contributing to practice development, including creating Points of View (PoVs), Statements of Work (SOWs), and supporting RFI/RFP responses
· Ability to own workstreams, manage stakeholders, and lead small teams in a consulting environment
These will help you succeed
- Experience with brokerage platforms or wealth management systems
- Exposure to data governance, canonical data models, or enterprise data frameworks
- Familiarity with cloud platforms or AI-driven data solutions
- Experience working in agile delivery environments (e.g., JIRA, backlog management)
- Ability to connect business, operations, and data/technology perspectives

Compensation
• $81,500 – $129,000
This position is eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans
