About the Role
As a Senior Facets Enrollment & Billing Consultant, you will make an impact by designing, implementing, and optimizing enrollment and billing solutions that support critical healthcare payer operations. You will be a valued member of our Healthcare Platform Consulting team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, operations leaders, technology teams, and client partners to deliver innovative, scalable solutions across Commercial, ASO, Medicare, and Medicaid lines of business.
This role is ideal for a healthcare payer expert who thrives on solving complex business challenges, leading configuration initiatives, and helping organizations maximize the value of their Facets platform investments.
In this role, you will:
- Lead enrollment and billing configuration initiatives for TriZetto Facets, ensuring successful implementation and ongoing optimization of solutions.
- Design and configure Group, Class, Plan (GCP), membership, enrollment, billing, and accounting components based on business requirements.
- Partner with business, operations, and technology teams to align project objectives, deliverables, and implementation strategies.
- Analyze and interpret complex billing requirements, including ASO, AFA, TPA, and commercial billing models.
- Monitor project progress, proactively identify risks, and recommend solutions that support successful project outcomes.
- Support system enhancements, testing activities, and production readiness efforts to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Provide subject matter expertise on Facets enrollment, billing processes, data structures, reporting impacts, and batch processing.
- Promote continuous improvement through process optimization, knowledge sharing, and stakeholder collaboration.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 10+ years of experience supporting Facets Enrollment and Billing solutions within healthcare payer organizations.
- Deep expertise in Facets Membership, Enrollment, Group, Class, Plan (GCP), Billing, and Accounting configuration.
- Strong understanding of TPA business models, ASO/AFA billing constructs, contract periods, stop-loss arrangements, fee schedules, and invoice generation processes.
- Experience working with Commercial, Individual, Medicare, and Medicaid healthcare products.
- Strong knowledge of Facets data structures, billing workflows, reporting impacts, and batch processing.
- Advanced SQL skills with experience supporting analysis, validation, troubleshooting, and solution development.
- Proven experience leading complex healthcare implementation, enhancement, or transformation initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively engage business and technical stakeholders.

- Experience with quoting, underwriting, and premium billing processes.
- Expertise supporting large-scale healthcare payer modernization or platform transformation initiatives.
- Knowledge of healthcare claims, enrollment, membership, and financial operations.
- Experience mentoring team members and providing leadership across cross-functional project teams.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and healthcare industry best practices.
- Strong consulting skills and experience working directly with clients and executive stakeholders.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $152,000 - $180,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
