Our Cognizant consulting group is looking for a Head of India Tech Consulting & Strategic Deals to join our journey. We are looking for a deep tech person with strong experience in AI consulting, along with a multi-industry experience in the Indian market; a person who has worked with top tier clients and has a strong network in the industry.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the India consulting arm of Cognizant and helping the company grow by managing top tier clients, striking strategic deals; while building a high performing team.
The Consulting Partner role is pivotal in driving strategic IT consulting initiatives within our organization. With a focus on delivering exceptional client solutions, the candidate will leverage their extensive experience to enhance business operations and foster innovation. This role requires a deep understanding of IT consulting, ensuring seamless integration of technology solutions to meet client needs and organizational goals.

In this role, you will:
Lead the development and execution of IT consulting strategies that align with client objectives and organizational goals.
Oversee the implementation of technology solutions ensuring they meet client specifications and enhance business operations.
Provide expert guidance on IT consulting best practices fostering innovation and efficiency within client organizations.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive consulting services that drive business success.
Analyze client needs and develop tailored IT solutions that address specific challenges and opportunities.
Manage client relationships ensuring satisfaction and long-term partnership through effective communication and service delivery.
Drive continuous improvement in consulting processes leveraging industry trends and insights to enhance service offerings.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations maintaining the highest level of professionalism and integrity.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower client teams with the knowledge and skills needed for successful technology adoption.
Monitor project progress and performance providing regular updates to stakeholders and adjusting strategies as needed.
Utilize data analytics to assess the impact of consulting initiatives and identify areas for further optimization.
Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities and contributing to proposal development.
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing consulting team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.

What you need to have to be considered:
20+ years of experience working in IT consulting, AI & deep tech; with a wide breadth of experience in multiple industries.
Possess extensive experience in IT consulting, demonstrating a deep understanding of Indian industry trends and client needs.
Have a proven track record of successful project management and client relationship building.
Exhibit strong analytical skills with the ability to develop and implement effective technology solutions.
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential for managing client interactions and team collaboration.
Hold a relevant degree in IT business or a related field showcasing a solid educational foundation.
Show proficiency in data analytics tools and methodologies enhancing decision-making and strategy development.

Proficiency in AI, data analytics, and ability to foster insight-led decision-making to maximise the consulting impact
Experience managing small and large scale clients, facilitating client workshops, executive advisory sessions, and transformation roadmaps that accelerate technology adoption.
A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, with the ability to stay current on emerging technologies, industry trends, and consulting best practices.
Work model:
Based on this role’s business requirements, the work model will be finalised once you join and may require working from a client or Cognizant office in India as needed. Regardless of your working arrangement, we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs.
