Job summary
Serve as a GeoSpatial Lead Analyst for MAP initiatives in a hybrid work model applying extensive experience in portfolio and project management to deliver high value geospatial solutions. Coordinate multi disciplinary teams optimize project pipelines and ensure high quality spatial analytics that supports strategic decision making and sustainable business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate complex geospatial analysis projects that support business critical decisions by planning tasks defining scope and aligning delivery timelines with portfolio objectives
- Optimize project portfolios by prioritizing geospatial initiatives that maximize value reduce risk and align with long term strategic goals for the organization
- Develop detailed project plans for MAP related geospatial solutions by defining clear milestones dependencies and resource needs to ensure predictable and efficient delivery
- Oversee the design of geospatial data models by integrating multiple data sources to produce accurate scalable and reusable mapping assets for enterprise use
- Guide the implementation of geospatial tools and workflows by collaborating with engineering and analytics teams to ensure robust maintainable and efficient solutions
- Coordinate stakeholders across business units by facilitating discussions to clarify requirements validate assumptions and align expectations on geospatial deliverables
- Monitor portfolio level performance metrics by tracking progress risks and benefits to ensure that geospatial projects remain on schedule within scope and aligned to budget expectations
- Improve delivery quality by defining best practices for spatial data validation documentation and governance so that geospatial outputs remain reliable and auditable
- Drive continuous improvement by reviewing completed projects identifying process bottlenecks and implementing enhancements that increase throughput and reduce rework across the portfolio
- Collaborate with data scientists and analysts by translating complex spatial findings into concise narratives and visualizations that can be easily understood by nontechnical partners
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies by applying appropriate standards for data security privacy and regulatory guidance in all geospatial projects
- Coordinate hybrid work routines by using digital collaboration tools so that distributed team members can contribute effectively without impacting delivery timelines
- Document lessons learned from geospatial MAP initiatives by creating reusable templates checklists and reference materials that improve consistency and accelerate future projects
Qualifications
- Combine advanced geospatial domain expertise with strong portfolio and project management skills to deliver structured and predictable outcomes across multiple concurrent initiatives
- Apply knowledge of geospatial concepts such as spatial analysis mapping workflows and data modeling to design solutions that address complex real world business problems
- Use experience with portfolio and project management practices to manage schedules risks and resources while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting business needs and translating them into actionable geospatial project requirements that can be executed by technical teams
- Leverage experience in working with cross functional teams in hybrid environments to maintain productivity accountability and coordination without requiring travel
- Utilize familiarity with modern geospatial platforms and analytics tools to evaluate solution options and guide teams toward approaches that balance performance and practicality
- Apply strong analytical and problem solving capabilities to diagnose data quality issues resolve integration challenges and refine workflows to improve project outcomes
- Exhibit clear written and verbal communication skills to document methods explain findings and support informed decisions by business partners and leadership stakeholders
