We are seeking an experienced Angular Developer with 8-11 years of software development experience and strong expertise in Angular 13-16. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-scale single page applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment. This role requires strong technical proficiency, problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to building secure, high-performing, and user-friendly web applications.
In this role, you will:
· Develop advanced single page applications using Angular versions 13 to 16 to deliver responsive, accessible, and scalable user interfaces.
· Design and implement reusable Angular components, services, and state management solutions to promote consistency and maintainability.
· Optimise front-end performance through effective change detection strategies, lazy loading techniques, and bundle size optimisation.
· Collaborate with backend developers to define and integrate secure APIs while ensuring robust data handling and error management.
· Create and maintain unit tests and component tests to improve code quality, increase coverage, and reduce defects.

What you need to have to be considered
8-11 years of professional software development experience with strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise-scale applications using Angular.
Hands-on experience with Angular 13-16, including Components, Modules, Services, Routing, Reactive Forms, RxJS, and Observables.
Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and modern front-end development best practices.
Experience with Angular testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or equivalent for unit and component testing.
Solid understanding of secure coding practices, input validation, authentication, authorisation, and mitigation of common web application vulnerabilities.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The annual salary for this position is between $ 68,422 to $ 114,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
