About the Role
As a Senior SailPoint Developer, you will drive the design, development, configuration, implementation, integration, and continuous enhancement of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions. You will work closely with the Senior SailPoint Engineering Lead and partner with IAM, cloud, infrastructure, security, and application teams to deliver scalable and secure identity governance solutions across hybrid, cloud, SaaS, and enterprise environments.
You will play a critical role in implementing identity governance, lifecycle management, provisioning, access certifications, role management, entitlement governance, cloud identity governance, application onboarding, and automation capabilities. As a highly hands-on engineering professional, you will contribute to platform modernization, migration initiatives, operational excellence, and continuous improvement while leveraging modern identity security practices and cloud-native governance capabilities.
In This Role, You Will
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) and SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) solutions.
- Develop and maintain IIQ workflows, lifecycle events, provisioning policies, business processes, rules, forms, reports, customizations, plugins, and application integrations.
- Configure and support ISC sources, access profiles, roles, lifecycle states, identity processing, certifications, provisioning policies, workflows, and event triggers.
- Design, configure, and support Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle management processes across IIQ and ISC environments.
- Implement and support onboarding of enterprise applications, authoritative sources, directories, databases, SaaS platforms, cloud services, and enterprise systems.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, SCIM, JDBC, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, XML, JSON, Java, and BeanShell technologies.
- Configure and support identity aggregation, correlation, reconciliation, and identity data quality processes.
- Design and support automated provisioning and de-provisioning capabilities across enterprise, SaaS, and cloud environments.
- Support access request, approval, provisioning, certification, role management, entitlement governance, Segregation of Duties (SoD), and access review processes.
- Participate in IdentityIQ-to-ISC migration initiatives, platform upgrades, modernization programs, testing, release management, and implementation activities.
- Develop automation solutions using Java, BeanShell, PowerShell, Python, APIs, and orchestration capabilities to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Troubleshoot and resolve provisioning, workflow, connector, integration, certification, and performance issues while supporting production environments.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, runbooks, implementation procedures, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with IAM teams, cloud teams, infrastructure teams, security teams, compliance teams, and business stakeholders to deliver identity governance solutions.
What You Must Have to Be Considered
- 6-10 years of Identity and Access Management (IAM) and application integration experience.
- 4+ years of hands-on SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) development experience.
- 2+ years of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) implementation, configuration, and development experience.
- Experience developing and supporting Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) lifecycle management processes across IIQ and ISC platforms.
- Experience configuring provisioning, certifications, access request workflows, role management, entitlement governance, and governance controls.
- Experience integrating SailPoint with Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, ServiceNow, HR systems, cloud applications, SaaS platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Experience developing REST API, Web Services, and SCIM-based integrations for identity governance solutions.
- Experience onboarding enterprise applications, authoritative sources, cloud platforms, and SaaS applications into SailPoint.
- Experience supporting identity correlation, aggregation, reconciliation, provisioning, and de-provisioning automation.
- Experience supporting SailPoint IdentityIQ upgrades, migrations, patching, and modernization initiatives.
- Experience supporting large-scale identity governance environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while following established architecture and governance standards.

- Expertise in SailPoint IdentityIQ Development and Administration.
- Experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud (ISC) / IdentityNow Development and Administration.
- Strong knowledge of IIQ workflow development including LCM, provisioning, certifications, approvals, rules, forms, reports, and business processes.
- Experience with IdentityIQ customization, rule development, plugin development, and connector configuration.
- Knowledge of ISC workflows, lifecycle states, identity processing, access profiles, roles, certifications, provisioning policies, source onboarding, and event triggers.
- Experience working with Java, BeanShell, REST APIs, Web Services, SCIM, JDBC, LDAP, XML, JSON, SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Experience with identity aggregation, correlation, reconciliation, data quality management, and governance processes.
- Experience integrating with Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, Azure, AWS, GCP, ServiceNow, HR platforms, SaaS applications, and enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of SQL, database development concepts, PowerShell, Python, Git, CI/CD practices, and automation frameworks.
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture, Identity Security, Cloud Identity Governance, and IGA best practices.
- SailPoint Certified IdentityIQ Engineer.
- SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Certification.
- SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Professional Certification.
- SailPoint Identity Security Cloud Engineer Certification.
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate.
