Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Senior Data Analyst to join our team and play a key role in driving data-focused business initiatives. This role requires a self-sufficient professional who can quickly immerse themselves in a complex enterprise environment, independently lead discovery and analysis activities, engage directly with business stakeholders, and translate business needs into actionable requirements for delivery teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and technical expertise, deep knowledge of enterprise data ecosystems, and the ability to produce high-quality artefacts that support solution design, development, testing, and implementation.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement validation sessions to elicit, challenge, and refine business needs.
- Lead discovery, analysis, and requirements gathering activities across business and technology stakeholders.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable specifications for development and testing teams.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive analytical artefacts, including:
- Data Mapping Specifications
- Data Lineage Documentation
- Functional and Non-Functional Requirements
- Business Rules Documentation
- Data Transformation Logic
- Analyze complex enterprise data models and identify source-to-target data relationships.
- Map and document data flows across business processes, systems, and platforms.
- Collaborate closely with developers and testers to clarify requirements and support data validation activities.
- Develop advanced SQL queries and data validation artefacts to support solution design, development, and quality assurance.
- Ensure requirements and documentation are complete, accurate, and fit for purpose.
- Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and technology teams, providing trusted advisory support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of strategic initiatives enabled through the Insights Platform.
Skills Required :
- Extensive experience as a Senior Data Analyst within large-scale enterprise data environments.
- Strong understanding of the Insights Platform and its role in delivering business and strategic outcomes.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage discovery and analysis activities with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating stakeholder workshops and conducting business requirement elicitation sessions.
- Deep understanding of Enterprise Data Models, Data Architecture Concepts , Data Lineage & Data Governance Principles
- Strong experience mapping source-to-target data flows and documenting complex business processes.
- Advanced SQL skills, including data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and query development.
- Experience supporting development and test teams through requirements clarification and data validation activities.
- Excellent documentation skills with the ability to produce high-quality analytical deliverables.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing capabilities.
