Job Summary
Consulting Senior Manager role in a global organization focusing on process manufacturing and industrial manufacturing clients driving complex consulting engagements that enhance operational excellence digital transformation and sustainable growth while working in a hybrid model during day shifts and collaborating closely with cross functional teams to deliver measurable value.
Responsibilities
- Drive end to end consulting engagements for process manufacturing and industrial manufacturing clients by defining problem statements shaping solutions and ensuring measurable business outcomes that align with client strategic priorities and organizational goals.
- Coordinate multi disciplinary project teams to deliver process optimization operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives that reduce cost improve quality and enhance safety across manufacturing operations.
- Develop detailed current state assessments of manufacturing value chains by analyzing production data maintenance records and supply chain information to identify bottlenecks inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
- Design future state operating models for process manufacturing plants by defining optimized workflows governance structures performance indicators and technology enablement strategies that support scalable and resilient operations.
- Guide clients in adopting industry leading practices in production planning asset management and quality management to improve throughput reduce downtime and increase yield in complex industrial environments.
- Create comprehensive consulting deliverables such as assessments roadmaps and business cases that clearly articulate value investment needs and risk mitigation actions for process and industrial manufacturing programs.
- Collaborate with technology teams to translate business requirements into solution designs covering manufacturing execution systems advanced analytics and automation platforms while ensuring alignment with client architecture standards.
- Support implementation oversight by monitoring progress resolving issues and validating benefits realization so that clients experience sustained performance improvements and adoption of recommended changes.
- Engage with client stakeholders across operations finance supply chain and sustainability functions to build consensus manage expectations and secure sponsorship for transformation initiatives.
- Develop reusable frameworks playbooks and accelerators tailored to process manufacturing and industrial manufacturing that improve delivery efficiency and consistency across consulting engagements.
- Mentor consulting professionals by providing guidance on domain topics project delivery methods and client engagement techniques to build strong capability within the team.
- Prepare structured status reports executive updates and insight driven presentations that communicate project progress risks and value delivered to senior client and internal stakeholders.
- Align consulting assignments with the organization mission by focusing on initiatives that improve resource efficiency reduce waste and support safer and more sustainable industrial operations.
Qualifications
- Require extensive experience of fifteen to seventeen years in consulting for process manufacturing and industrial manufacturing clients with a strong track record of delivering large scale transformation programs.
- Require deep knowledge of manufacturing processes such as batch operations continuous operations and discrete assembly along with familiarity with standards regulatory expectations and industry benchmarks.
- Require hands on experience in analyzing production maintenance and quality data using spreadsheets or analytical tools to derive insights that support decision making and performance improvement.
- Require strong stakeholder engagement skills including the ability to collaborate with operations leaders engineers and business managers in hybrid working environments across different locations.
- Require ability to document current processes define future state designs and create clear implementation roadmaps that can be understood and adopted by client teams.
- Nice to have experience with digital manufacturing technologies such as manufacturing execution systems industrial internet of things platforms and advanced analytics solutions applied to production environments.
- Nice to have exposure to sustainability initiatives in industrial settings including energy optimization emissions reduction and circular economy practices that contribute to responsible manufacturing.
- Nice to have prior consulting work in hybrid or distributed project environments where coordination is managed through virtual collaboration tools and periodic onsite interactions during day shifts.
