As a Business Analyst, you will make an impact by driving business transformation initiatives, optimizing processes, and delivering technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and business outcomes. You will be a valued member of the Business Transformation team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, project managers, and executive leadership to translate business needs into scalable solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, promoting best practices in requirements gathering, process improvement, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define business requirements, prioritize initiatives, and deliver strategic solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Drive business transformation and process optimization efforts across functions such as Operations, Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS).
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions, and requirement validation activities to ensure successful solution design and delivery.
- Analyze business data, develop insights, and support data-driven decision-making through reporting, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system integrations, digital transformation initiatives, and AI-enabled solutions.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), change management activities, and end-user training to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
- Support Agile delivery teams by managing backlogs, refining requirements, and participating in Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe ceremonies.
- Establish and monitor KPIs to measure business performance, process effectiveness, and project success.
- Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, and continuous improvement across business processes.

What you need to have to be considered
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Business Systems Analysis, Product Management, Project Management, or related disciplines.
- Experience leading teams of Business Analysts and managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, process mapping, stakeholder management, and solution delivery.
- Experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with business and technical teams to implement enterprise technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to leverage data to support business decisions.
- Experience supporting system integrations, APIs, data platforms, or enterprise applications.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes.

- Experience implementing AI-powered solutions, automation initiatives, or conversational AI technologies.
- Knowledge of business intelligence and analytics tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience with tools including Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, Visio, SQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka, or related platforms.
- Experience working within healthcare, pharmaceutical, technology, environmental services, manufacturing, or other highly regulated industries.
- Exposure to product ownership, product strategy, and end-to-end product lifecycle management.
- Experience establishing Business Analysis Centers of Excellence (BACOE) or business process governance frameworks.
- Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMP, Scrum Master, Product Owner, or SAFe certifications.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $88,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
