Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced - Business Systems Analyst for data analytics and data analysis for a global organization owning the design optimization and insight generation for key analytics products that support channel strategies and aggregate spend visibility. The selected candidate will collaborate with cross functional teams to translate complex data into clear decisions that improve business performance and societal outcomes through responsible use of data.

In this role, you will:

• Drive end to end ownership of analytics product features by gathering requirements from business stakeholders and translating them into clear data solutions that improve decision quality across the organization.
• Analyze large and complex data sets using advanced data analytics techniques to uncover trends patterns and anomalies that inform strategic channel optimization and resource allocation.
• Develop and maintain robust dashboards and reports that provide transparent visibility into key performance indicators enabling teams to monitor channel effectiveness and spend behavior in real time.
• Collaborate closely with marketing finance and operations teams to understand their analytical needs and design tailored data models that connect business questions to measurable outcomes.
• Optimize data pipelines and analytical workflows to ensure consistent data quality timeliness and reliability while reducing manual effort and operational risk.
• Document analytical approaches data definitions and product capabilities in a clear and structured manner so that business users can confidently interpret and apply insights in their daily decision making.
• Partner with product management and engineering teams to refine analytics product roadmaps ensuring that enhancements are prioritized based on business impact and user feedback.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis on channel performance and aggregate spend patterns to identify opportunities for efficiency savings revenue growth and fair allocation of resources.
• Present analytical findings to cross functional stakeholders in an accessible narrative form highlighting the implications for channel strategies budgeting and responsible business practices.
• Support testing and validation of new analytics features by defining success metrics creating test scenarios and evaluating performance against expected results.
• Ensure compliance with internal data governance policies by applying rigorous standards for data privacy security and ethical use throughout all analytics activities.
• Mentor less experienced analysts on best practices in data exploration visualization and product thinking helping to build a strong analytics culture within the team.
• Contribute actively to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing enhancements to tools processes and methodologies that make analytics products more scalable and impactful.

What you need to have to be considered

• Demonstrate advanced proficiency in data analytics and data analyst disciplines including data cleansing transformation statistical analysis and visualization using industry standard tools.
• Apply strong experience with hybrid work collaboration tools and practices to maintain effective communication documentation and delivery across onsite and remote environments.
• Bring practical exposure to channel insight generation and optimization with the ability to interpret channel performance metrics and convert them into actionable strategies.
• Utilize knowledge of aggregate spend analysis to design models and reports that provide clear visibility into spending patterns supporting responsible and compliant financial decision making.
• Show capability in working within daylight shift operations and aligning analytics outputs with time sensitive business processes that depend on accurate and timely insights.
• Exhibit solid stakeholder management skills by engaging business partners clarifying analytical needs and negotiating priorities to deliver the most valuable product enhancements.
• Maintain familiarity with modern data platforms and business intelligence tools enabling selection and use of the most suitable technologies for each analytics product use case.

The posted job opening may be for a Temporary Fixed Term period of time. If the selected applicant is hired as a Temporary Fixed Term employee/associate, their employment with Cognizant will typically be for a period of six to nine months. Any extensions to the temporary employee’s employment period will be solely at the discretion of Cognizant Technology Solutions. The hourly salary for this position is between $[25 -30/hr] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
