About the Role
As a Senior Technical Business Analyst, you will make an impact by driving business and technical requirements across digital transformation initiatives involving Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, cloud platforms, APIs, and enterprise applications. You will be a valued member of the technology delivery team and work collaboratively with business stakeholders, development teams, quality assurance teams, product owners, and external partners to deliver innovative business solutions.
In This Role, You Will:
Partner with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements.
Lead requirements gathering workshops and translating complex business needs into user stories, use cases, process flows, wireframes, and functional specifications.
Analyze APIs, system integrations, microservices architectures, and enterprise data exchange models to support solution design and delivery.
Support Agentic AI, Intelligent Automation, and cloud transformation initiatives by defining business requirements, workflows, and process improvements.
Collaborate with development, quality assurance, and external partner teams throughout the software development lifecycle while facilitating Agile and SAFe delivery practices.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10 + years of proven experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise software development, digital transformation, and technology modernization programs.
Strong expertise in gathering, documenting, validating, and managing business and functional requirements in Agile and SAFe environments.
Experience with REST APIs, system integrations, microservices architectures, cloud-based solutions, and data exchange technologies including JSON/XML.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO/TFS), Visio, business analysis tools, and stakeholder management, coupled with strong analytical and communication skills.
These Will Help You Stand Out
Experience supporting Gen AI, Agentic AI, AI-driven business process solutions, or Intelligent Automation initiatives.
Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), cloud modernization, and cloud migration programs.
Experience with Java, .NET applications, JavaScript, data mapping, JSON schema validation, and technical documentation.
Project or program management experience within enterprise technology environments.
Experience working with carrier integrations, external technology partners, certification teams, and creating prototypes, wireframes, or process models.

Salary and Other Compensation
The annual salary for this position is between $71,100 to $112,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
