PROS Smart Price Management Techno-Functional / Process Consultant (Salesforce Environment)
Role Summary
We are seeking a PROS Smart Price Management Techno-Functional / Process Consultant to support the design and delivery of enterprise price management capabilities on a long-term SI client engagement. This role sits at the intersection of pricing process design and platform configuration, partnering with Pricing, Sales Ops, Finance, and IT to implement centralized price governance, omnichannel price list management, and real-time price delivery integrated into the client’s selling channels (including Salesforce).
Key Responsibilities
- Lead discovery and process design for price management, including price governance, approvals, exception handling, and operational runbooks for pricing teams.
- Translate pricing requirements into functional specifications and user stories (pricing strategy, price lists, dimensions/attributes, rules, workflows, and audit needs).
- Configure and support PROS Smart Price Management capabilities such as centralized price list administration, dimension management, lookups, and real-time pricing methods (including currency and unit-of-measure conversions, where applicable).
- Support implementation of algorithmic/dynamic price strategies and collaborate with stakeholders on simulation/impact analysis approaches used to refine pricing models.
- Partner with technical teams to define integration and data needs (inbound pricing inputs and outbound price publishing), including error handling, reconciliation, and monitoring approaches. PROS positions Smart Price Management for seamless integration with ERPs, CRMs, and front-end applications.
- Coordinate end-to-end testing (SIT/UAT), including test data preparation, price calculation validation, and reconciliation of pricing outcomes across channels.
- Support go-live readiness, cutover planning, and hypercare; provide user enablement and knowledge transfer to pricing operations teams.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to reduce manual pricing work, improve compliance, and increase agility in responding to market changes.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in pricing, revenue management, or price management implementations (consulting/SI experience preferred).
- Hands-on experience with price list management concepts (channels/regions/customer segments), pricing governance, approvals, and operational pricing processes.
- Strong functional and data skills: requirements elicitation, process mapping, data definitions, validation/reconciliation; advanced Excel and/or SQL proficiency.
- Working knowledge of real-time pricing delivery needs and integration fundamentals (APIs, batch vs real-time, data mapping, controls).
- Ability to lead workshops, manage stakeholders, and communicate clearly with both business and technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience with PROS Smart Price Management / PROS Smart Price Optimization & Management (Smart POM) preferred.
- Experience supporting omnichannel price execution (direct sales, partners, eCommerce, etc.) and managing price lists at scale.
- Experience working in a Salesforce CRM environment (integration touchpoints, sales user experience considerations).
- Familiarity with pricing analytics and methodologies (e.g., price corridor/waterfall thinking, discount/rebate impacts, governance KPIs). PROS highlights built-in pricing analytics and multi-tier approval workflows as key capabilities.
- Exposure to AI- or algorithm-driven pricing approaches (where the product/package includes optimization capabilities).

Pay Transparency
The annual salary range for this role is $130,000 – $150,000 USD, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity.
This position is also eligible for a comprehensive benefits package.
