About the Role
As a ServiceNow Vulnerability Response & OT Security Integration Engineer, you will make an impact by designing and automating enterprise vulnerability management processes across IT and Operational Technology (OT) environments. You will be a valued member of the Cybersecurity and Platform Engineering team and work collaboratively with Security Operations, OT Engineering, Infrastructure, Compliance, and ServiceNow platform teams to deliver integrated, scalable, and audit-ready security solutions.
In this role, you will:
- Design and develop bi-directional integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise platforms including Tanium, Qualys, Forescout, and Maximo using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, and custom ServiceNow development.
- Automate the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle, including vulnerability ingestion, asset correlation, risk prioritization, remediation orchestration, validation, and closure.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer automations, and remediation processes that improve operational efficiency, governance, and compliance.
- Develop reporting, dashboards, and analytics that provide visibility into risk exposure, SLA adherence, remediation performance, and vulnerability trends.
- Partner with Security, IT, OT, and Compliance stakeholders to implement secure, scalable, and production-safe solutions that support regulatory and audit requirements.

What You Need to Have to Be Considered
- 4+ years of hands-on experience administering or engineering solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Vulnerability Response (VR), Security Operations (SecOps), or OT/IoT Security modules.
- Proven experience building and supporting two-way integrations with at least two of the following technologies: Tanium, Qualys, Forescout, Maximo, or comparable EAM/CMMS platforms.
- Experience with IntegrationHub, MID Server configuration, REST/SOAP integrations, Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, CMDB, and CSDM.
- Solid understanding of vulnerability management processes, including vulnerability scanning, risk scoring (CVSS/VPR), remediation workflows, exception management, and SLA tracking.
- Strong ServiceNow development experience using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Scripted REST APIs, Business Rules, and custom application development.
- Working knowledge of OT/ICS/SCADA environments and the unique operational constraints associated with OT vulnerability management.
- Experience implementing secure integration architectures utilizing OAuth2, Mutual TLS, API Keys, and other authentication mechanisms.
- Strong documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to produce audit-ready records and technical documentation.
These Will Help You Stand Out
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Vulnerability Response (CIS-VR) and/or CIS-SecOps certification.
- OT Security, OT Discovery, or OT Vulnerability Management certifications.
- Experience supporting compliance frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST 800-82, or similar industrial cybersecurity standards.
- Experience implementing automated containment, segmentation, or compensating-control workflows within OT environments.
- Experience designing ServiceNow Performance Analytics dashboards and executive security reporting.

The annual salary for this position will be in the range of $104,000 - $122,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
