Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Consulting Lead with deep insurance domain experience — with P&C Insurance as the primary domain and a general understanding of the Life Insurance domain. Exposure to financial accounting and reporting for the insurance business would be an added advantage.
The successful candidate will have worked with leading Swiss insurance accounts (such as Zurich, Baloise, Helvetia, Allianz, AXA, Mobiliar, Swiss Re, etc.) and will bring specialist domain expertise, consultative advisory capability, proven thought leadership, and hands-on delivery experience to advise insurers on their digital transformation and technology modernisation journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Advise Swiss insurers on digital transformation initiatives across Commercial P&C, Pensions, Reinsurance, Claims, and Underwriting.
Bring specialist domain expertise in at least one of the following areas: Commercial P&C, Pensions, or Reinsurance.
Leverage exposure to one or more sub-domain areas such as Claims and Underwriting to shape client-specific solutions.
Utilise a strong professional network within the Swiss Insurance industry to drive client engagement and business development.
Deliver consultative selling, advisory, and delivery engagements for insurance clients.
Demonstrate proven thought leadership in the insurance domain area.
Bring strong experience and understanding of German/Swiss insurance market nuances, regulatory considerations, and client expectations.
Leverage working experience on leading Insurance technology platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.
Apply working exposure across key value chain areas of the insurance business, including Underwriting and Claims Management.
Advise clients on the relevance and application of AI, GenAI, and emerging digital technology trends to the insurance industry, including the development of concepts, use cases, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
Provide guidance on the insurance application landscape, enterprise architecture topics, and technology modernisation programs.
Lead requirements management, process redesign, and program management activities for large-scale transformation engagements.
Collaborate across onsite–nearshore–offshore delivery models, working closely with India-based teams to ensure seamless execution and delivery quality.
Required Experience
Proven experience as a Consulting Lead / Senior Consultant with a strong track record in the Swiss Insurance industry.
Prior work experience with leading Swiss and international insurance accounts such as Zurich, Baloise, Helvetia, Allianz, AXA, Mobiliar, Swiss Re, or equivalent.
Deep Insurance domain experience with P&C Insurance as the primary domain and general understanding of the Life Insurance domain.
Specialist expertise in at least one of the following domains: Commercial P&C, Pensions, or Reinsurance.
Exposure to one or more sub-domains such as Claims and Underwriting.
Exposure to financial accounting and reporting for the insurance business (added advantage).
Demonstrated experience of working in the German and/or Swiss insurance markets, with an appreciation of market-specific nuances.
Demonstrated track record of advising insurers on digital transformation programs.
Deep appreciation of AI, GenAI, and digital technology trends and their applicability to the insurance industry.
Strong understanding of the insurance application landscape and enterprise architecture topics.
Working experience with insurance technology platforms such as Guidewire, Duck Creek, or equivalent.
Hands-on experience in Business Analysis, Process Analysis, Process Redesign, Requirements Management, and Program Management.
Prior experience working in an onsite–nearshore–offshore delivery model.
Key Skills and Capabilities

Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, application landscape, and integration considerations.
Hands-on delivery experience across business analysis, process redesign, requirements management, and program management.
Working knowledge of leading insurance technology platforms (Guidewire, Duck Creek, etc.).
Excellent business networking capability within the Swiss Insurance ecosystem.
Ability to work effectively across multi-geography, multi-cultural delivery models with onsite–nearshore–offshore teams.
Language Requirements
Swiss German / German: (business fluent).
English: Proficient.
Cultural & Working Style
Should have experience working in onsite, nearshore, and offshore delivery models.
Prior exposure to and experience of working with India-based teams is essential.
Comfortable operating across multicultural, cross-border consulting environments.
Working Model
This is a Zurich-based role, primarily onsite with client engagement expectations. The successful candidate should be comfortable with regular client-facing activity in Switzerland and periodic collaboration with nearshore and offshore delivery teams.
