Job Summary

This hybrid day shift role seeks an experienced project manager with strong background in SAP Basis application lifecycle management administration and integration combined with exposure to regulatory compliance and bioinformatics domains. The individual will manage end to end delivery of complex technology initiatives ensuring reliable SAP Basis operations alignment with regulatory obligations and measurable value for global stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive end to end planning execution and monitoring of SAP Basis focused projects ensuring delivery within agreed timelines scope and quality while aligning outcomes with organizational objectives and stakeholder expectations.
• Coordinate cross functional teams including SAP Basis administrators application owners and business partners to ensure integrated solutions that support bioinformatics workflows and regulatory compliance obligations.
• Manage project budgets and resource allocation by tracking actuals against estimates and optimizing utilization to maximize value while avoiding cost overruns and delivery risks.
• Develop detailed project schedules and implementation roadmaps for SAP Basis application lifecycle management and integration initiatives enabling predictable deployments and minimal disruption to business operations.
• Monitor project risks and issues related to infrastructure performance security and integration dependencies and implement mitigation strategies that protect system stability and regulatory adherence.
• Collaborate with compliance and quality teams to interpret regulatory guidelines and translate them into actionable project requirements that ensure SAP Basis configurations and processes support audit readiness and data integrity.
• Guide teams in designing and implementing SAP Basis administration practices including system monitoring transport management and performance tuning that enable resilient applications supporting bioinformatics research and analytics.
• Document project scope requirements design decisions and status reports in a clear and structured manner enabling transparent communication for sponsors technical teams and domain stakeholders.
• Facilitate regular project review meetings and status checkpoints to present progress highlight dependencies and gather feedback ensuring continuous alignment with business goals and evolving regulatory expectations.
• Drive adoption of standardized methodologies and tools for project management reporting and change control that improve predictability repeatability and quality of SAP Basis delivery initiatives.
• Coordinate testing activities for application lifecycle events such as upgrades patches and integrations ensuring validation of critical bioinformatics processes and compliance related controls before production rollout.
• Support incident and problem resolution by organizing project level root cause analysis sessions and follow up actions that strengthen system reliability and prevent recurrence of critical SAP Basis issues.
• Align hybrid work practices and collaboration routines to maintain productivity engagement and knowledge sharing across onsite and remote project team members.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate proven experience managing technology projects focused on SAP Basis administration application lifecycle management and integration within complex enterprise environments.
• Apply deep understanding of SAP Basis concepts including system architecture transport landscapes performance optimization and security configuration to guide project technical decisions.
• Leverage hands on exposure to bioinformatics workflows data models and research platforms to ensure project outcomes effectively support scientific and analytical processes.
• Utilize strong knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks such as data protection quality standards and validation requirements to shape project plans and deliverables that withstand audits.
• Employ practical experience with project management methodologies and tools to structure tasks manage dependencies and communicate progress in a clear and actionable manner.
• Use excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities to gather requirements negotiate priorities and build consensus around SAP Basis and compliance related decisions.
• Draw on prior success in hybrid work environments to coordinate distributed teams maintain documentation discipline and ensure consistent engagement across different locations.

Certifications Required

Preferred certifications include SAP Certified Technology Associate in SAP Basis and PMP or equivalent project management certification.
