Job Summary
Consulting Manager role in a global organization focused on delivering strategic and operational consulting services to property and casualty insurance clients requiring eight to ten years of experience in this domain working in a hybrid day shift model with no travel and driving impactful solutions that improve profitability customer experience and risk management for insurers and the communities they serve.
Responsibilities
Lead complex consulting engagements for property and casualty insurance clients to design and implement solutions that improve underwriting accuracy claims efficiency and overall operational performance.Drive the development of client specific strategies that optimize product portfolios pricing approaches and risk selection while aligning with regulatory requirements and market trends.Coordinate cross functional project teams including business analysts and technical specialists to ensure that requirements for policy administration rating and claims systems are clearly defined and delivered effectively.Analyze current insurance processes data flows and system landscapes to identify inefficiencies and recommend practical improvements that reduce cycle times and operational costs.Collaborate with client stakeholders to prioritize transformation initiatives build realistic roadmaps and secure consensus on scope timelines and expected business outcomes.Prepare detailed business cases that quantify financial benefits customer impact and risk mitigation for proposed changes in underwriting claims handling and policy servicing.Guide the configuration and adoption of core insurance platforms and tools by translating business needs into solution options that are feasible and sustainable.Monitor engagement progress through structured status reporting risk tracking and issue resolution to ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet agreed quality standards.Facilitate workshops and working sessions that help clients refine target operating models and define clear roles responsibilities and handoffs across distribution underwriting and claims functions.Develop reusable consulting frameworks best practices and knowledge assets focused on property and casualty insurance to enhance consistency and quality across projects.Provide coaching and day to day guidance to consulting team members on insurance concepts analytical approaches and client communication to strengthen overall delivery capability.Engage with internal business development teams to support proposal responses by shaping solution narratives estimating effort and articulating value for property and casualty prospects.Ensure that all consulting recommendations adhere to applicable insurance regulations and corporate governance standards while promoting ethical practices and fair customer outcomes.
