About The Role
As a Consulting Manager, you will support the growth of Cognizant’s Organizational Change Management consulting business by.
Delivering outstanding change management consulting engagements
Contributing to business development by spotting new consulting opportunities, cultivating client relationships, and supporting development of proposals and RFP responses.
Supporting our team's growth by guiding and empowering team members and creating an inclusive, diverse, and supportive work environment that fosters professional development
Crafting creative change management propositions that cater to our clients' needs and align with the latest market trends
Upgrading your own skills through continuous learning and development opportunities and sharing your insights within our company and the industry to shape our thought leadership.
Digital Business Change Management
Lead the design and development of integrated digital business change plans across a portfolio of projects, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
Develop a compelling strategic narrative that contextualises change initiatives and clearly articulates the cumulative value of digital capabilities delivered across the portfolio.
Ensure change plans reflect interdependencies between projects and provide a cohesive approach to transformation.
Maximise adoption and effective usage of new platforms, systems, and technologies introduced through digital initiatives.
Partner closely with the Lead Change Manager to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment of change strategies across the programme or portfolio.
People-Focused Change Delivery
Lead the people-side of change by preparing, supporting, and equipping stakeholders to adopt changes to business processes, systems, and technology.
Develop and execute change impact assessments, stakeholder engagement plans, communication strategies, and training approaches.
Support the transition of individuals and teams through change, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Drive behavioural and cultural change required to embed new ways of working.
Organisational Change & HR Collaboration
Partner with HR to design and implement changes to organisational structures, roles, and responsibilities where required.
Contribute to workforce transition planning, role redesign, and capability development initiatives.
Ensure alignment between organisational change activities and broader business transformation objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across business and technology teams.
Communicate change initiatives effectively, ensuring clarity of purpose, benefits, and expected outcomes.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders on change strategy, risks, and adoption challenges.
Delivery Approach & Execution
Operate at both a strategic and hands-on level, leading change initiatives while also actively contributing to delivery activities where required.
Monitor and measure the effectiveness of change interventions, using data and feedback to continuously improve outcomes.
Identify and manage risks, issues, and resistance related to change, implementing mitigation strategies where needed.
Ensure alignment with programme governance and reporting requirements.
Leadership & Ways of Working
Demonstrate leadership in driving change across complex, multi-project environments.
Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support and mentor team members, fostering capability in change management practices.
Work flexibly across projects, adapting to evolving priorities and organisational needs.
Key Characteristics
PROSCI or CCMP certified
Strong focus on business outcomes and value realisation
Ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Proven experience in delivering digital and organisational change
Collaborative and adaptable approach in fast-paced environments
Location of Role: (Aberdeen / Glasgow / Inverness / Perth)
