This Healthcare Client Partner role at Cognizant Technology Solutions will be responsible for managing a large Healthcare Payer account. Candidates should have strong business development focused account management experience, with the ability to manage a large high-growth account in various domains including Digital Business (Artificial Intelligence, Digital Engineering, Digital Strategy, Interactive), Digital Operations (Enterprise Services, Platform Solutions and Intelligent Process Automation), Digital Systems & Technology (Application Services, Cloud Enablement, Infrastructure Services, Security, Core Modernization, Enterprise Application Services and Quality Engineering & Assurance).
The Healthcare Client Partner will partner with the CIO/VPs and vendor management teams and help them identify various opportunities and initiatives that can be off-shored. This Healthcare Client Partner will play a key role in driving revenues specifically for Cognizant’s Healthcare Business Unit, and it is preferred that the qualified candidate reside within the western United States and be able to travel as required for business throughout the western United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Builds and executes an Account Plan that includes both transactional and strategic initiatives to grow in the account
- Identifies and closes new opportunities that result in substantial growth in share, revenues, and margin.
- Manage CIO/ COO level relationships effectively.
- Manage contract negotiations and should be able to lead creative financial and contractual constructs.
- Manage and grow the account’s P&L, MIS & Reporting.
- Forecast and manage talent retention and growth optimally.
- Lead the team effectively.
- Thought leadership in IT/Offshoring, BPO and Infrastructure.
- Strong BD (farming) and sales (hunting) experience.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling with Healthcare Payer clients.
- Formulate creative deals and ability to innovate and raise the bar consistently.
Required Qualifications:
- 20+ years of proven track record of growing a successful consulting business in the Healthcare Payer industry.
- 4 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Thought leadership in IT/Offshoring environment.
- P&L management experience.
- Strong Business Development (farming) and sales (hunting) experience.
- Ability to engage in consultative selling.
- Experience in formulating creative deals.
- Experience in Healthcare Payer business and aware of its challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in IT, Infrastructure, and BPO consulting arena.
- Knowledge of Cognizant’s Healthcare Payer solutions and services is a plus.
Required Education:
- Bachelors degree or commensurate years of work experience required
- Advanced degree (MBA or Masters) preferred
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
Salary and Other Compensation:
The BASE SALARY for this position $200,000 - $240,000 plus annual bonus.
